Setup and Initial Use

Before first use, ensure the flashlight is fully charged. The package includes the flashlight, two 18650 rechargeable batteries, a USB charging cable, and a lanyard.

Charging the Flashlight

  1. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the flashlight's charging port.
  2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a compatible USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer USB port).
  3. The On/Off button will glow RED while charging.

After turning the flashlight on, the battery indicator will light up for a few seconds to show the current charge level. A RED indicator signifies 25% battery power or less remaining.

Operating Instructions

Light Modes

The flashlight features multiple light modes for various situations:

  • Standard Cycle: Press the side On/Off button to cycle through High, Medium, and Low modes.
  • Variable Strobe Mode: Double-click the On/Off button to activate the Variable Strobe mode.
  • DIRECT-TO-LOW Feature: To activate Low mode first, click and hold the power button for 2 seconds. Subsequent presses will cycle to Medium and then High. After the flashlight is turned off, it will default back to the standard High-Medium-Low cycle.

Adjustable Zoom

The Pro 3200 RC features a 4x adjustable zoom to control the beam focus:

  • Turn the head of the flashlight clockwise for a wide flood light, ideal for short-range illumination.
  • Turn the head of the flashlight counter-clockwise for a focused spot light, capable of shining up to 261 meters.

Power Bank Functionality

The iProtec Pro 3200 RC can act as a power bank to charge your USB-powered devices. Connect your device's USB charging cable to the flashlight's output port to begin charging.

LO-LIGHT Feature

An internal glow-in-the-dark component, the LO-LIGHT, is located behind the lens. This feature provides a secondary light source without consuming battery life. The LO-LIGHT recharges when the main light is on or when exposed to natural light. Approximately 10 seconds of charge will provide 5 minutes of illumination from the LO-LIGHT.

Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your flashlight.

  • Cleaning: Wipe the flashlight body with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Keep the lens clean for optimal light output.
  • Battery Care: Recharge the batteries regularly, even if the flashlight is not in frequent use, to maintain battery health. Store the flashlight in a cool, dry place.
  • O-Rings: Periodically inspect the O-rings for wear and tear, especially if the flashlight is frequently exposed to water. Lubricate with silicone grease if necessary to maintain waterproof integrity.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your iProtec Pro 3200 RC, consider the following common solutions:

  • Flashlight not turning on:
    • Ensure the batteries are fully charged.
    • Check that the batteries are inserted with the correct polarity.

  • Dim light output:
    • The battery charge may be low; recharge the flashlight.
