4. From underneath the toilet bowl, attach the nuts (part C) to the T-bolts. Finger-tighten them initially.

6. Using a 1/2" (13mm) wrench or socket, tighten the nuts until the bottom nut snaps off. This indicates proper tightness and ensures the seat will not loosen. Discard the snapped-off portion.
