Main Unit (Display)

Setup
1. Battery Installation

- For the Wireless Outdoor Sensor:
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the sensor.
- Insert 2x AAA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
- For the Main Thermometer Unit:
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the main unit.
- Insert 2x AAA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
2. Initial Pairing
After inserting batteries into both units, the main unit will automatically attempt to connect with the outdoor sensor. This process may take a few minutes. The outdoor temperature will appear on the main unit's display once connected. If the outdoor temperature does not appear, try the following:
- Ensure both units are within range (max 80m, less with obstacles).
- Remove and reinsert batteries in both units to force a re-pairing.
- Move the sensor closer to the main unit during the pairing process.
Operating Instructions
Reading the Display
- The upper large digits show the Outdoor Temperature.
- The lower large digits show the Indoor Temperature.
- Small arrows next to the temperature readings indicate the Temperature Trend (rising, falling, or stable).
Switching Temperature Units (°C/°F)
Press the C/F button on the back of the main unit to toggle between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F) display.
Memory Function (MAX/MIN)
The thermometer automatically records the maximum and minimum temperatures measured since the last reset.
- Press the MAX/MIN button once to display the maximum recorded indoor and outdoor temperatures.
- Press the MAX/MIN button a second time to display the minimum recorded indoor and outdoor temperatures.
- Press the MAX/MIN button a third time to return to current temperature display.
- To reset the MAX/MIN records, press and hold the MAX/MIN button for approximately 3 seconds while the MAX or MIN values are displayed. The records will clear, and new recording will begin.
Placement Guidelines

Main Unit Placement
- Place the main unit indoors in a central location, away from direct sunlight, heat sources (e.g., radiators, appliances), and drafts.
- It can be placed on a table or shelf using its integrated stand, or mounted on a wall using the hanging hole on the back.
- Ensure it is within effective range of the outdoor sensor.
Outdoor Sensor Placement
- Mount the outdoor sensor in a shaded area to avoid direct sunlight, which can cause inaccurate readings.
- Choose a location protected from heavy rain or snow, even though the sensor is waterproof.
- Ensure the sensor is mounted vertically to allow proper drainage.
- Avoid placing the sensor near metal structures, large electrical appliances, or other sources of interference that could affect wireless transmission.
- The maximum wireless range is 80 meters in open space; obstacles like walls and windows will reduce this range.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the device and sensor with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Replacement: Replace batteries in both units when the low battery indicator appears on the display. Always replace all batteries at the same time.
- Storage: If not in use for an extended period, remove the batteries from both units to prevent leakage.
Troubleshooting
