3. Setup Instructions

  1. Connect the Headset:

    The Zone Wired Headset connects to your computer via USB. It features a USB-C connector. If your computer only has USB-A ports, use the included USB-A adapter.

    • For USB-C port: Plug the headset's USB-C connector directly into your computer's USB-C port.
    • For USB-A port: Attach the USB-A adapter to the headset's USB-C connector, then plug the adapter into your computer's USB-A port.

  2. Operating System Recognition:

    Your computer's operating system (Windows, macOS, Chrome OS) should automatically recognize the headset and install necessary drivers. This is a plug-and-play device.

  3. Install Logi Tune Desktop (Optional but Recommended):

    For advanced control over your headset's audio settings, download and install the Logi Tune Desktop application from the official Logitech website. This software allows you to customize equalizer settings, sidetone, and test audio levels.

4.1 Inline Controller Functions

The inline controller on the headset cable provides quick access to essential functions:

  • Volume Up/Down: Use the dedicated buttons to increase or decrease audio volume.
  • Mute Microphone: Press the mute button to toggle the microphone on or off.
  • Answer/End/Reject Calls: Use the call button to manage incoming and active calls.
  • Play/Pause Music: Press the play/pause button to control media playback.

4.2 Microphone Usage

  • Positioning: For best voice clarity, position the microphone boom approximately two fingers' width from your mouth.
  • Flip-to-Mute: The microphone features a flip-to-mute function. Raising the microphone boom upwards will mute the microphone, and lowering it will unmute it.
