1. Setup and Assembly

The Bialetti Mini Express Moka Set is designed for easy assembly and use. Follow these steps to prepare your coffee maker:

1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. The set includes the base (boiler), filter basket, top plate with spouts, and two espresso shot glasses.
2. Disassemble: Unscrew the top plate from the base. Remove the filter basket from the base.
3. Fill with Water: Fill the boiler (bottom part) with cold water up to the level of the safety valve. Do not overfill.
4. Add Coffee: Insert the filter basket into the boiler. Fill the filter basket with ground coffee without pressing it down. Ensure the coffee grounds are level with the top of the basket.
5. Reassemble: Screw the top plate firmly onto the base. Place the two included espresso shot glasses onto the special aluminum support plate, aligning them under the spouts.

2. Operating Instructions

Once assembled, your Bialetti Mini Express is ready to brew. This stovetop espresso maker is suitable for gas and electric cooktops, as well as propane camping stoves.

1. Place on Heat Source: Place the coffee maker on your stove at a medium temperature. The innovative design allows coffee to be served directly into the cups, which are kept warm by the special aluminum support plate.
2. Brewing Process: As the water heats, it will rise through the coffee grounds in the filter basket and then through the spouts, dispensing fresh espresso directly into the cups.
3. Monitor Brewing: The brewing process is complete when the cups are filled and you hear a gurgling sound, indicating that all the water has passed through.
4. Serve: Carefully remove the coffee maker from the heat. The espresso is now ready to be enjoyed.

• Cool Down: Always allow the coffee maker to cool completely before disassembling and cleaning.
