Setup

1. Battery Installation

1. Open the battery compartment on the back of the controller.
2. Insert the two (2) AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

2. Pairing with Nintendo Switch

1. From the HOME Menu on your Nintendo Switch, select Controllers > Change Grip/Order.
2. Press and hold the SYNC Button on the top edge of the PowerA Enhanced Wireless Controller for at least one second. The Player LED(s) will flash.
3. Once paired, the Player LED(s) corresponding to the controller number will remain lit.

Operating Instructions

Advanced Gaming Buttons

The controller features two mappable Advanced Gaming Buttons (AGB) on the back. These buttons can be programmed to replicate any standard button input for quick access during gameplay.

1. Press the Program Button on the back of the controller. The Program LED will flash.
2. Press the AGB (L or R) you wish to map. The Program LED will flash rapidly.
3. Press the standard button you want to map to the AGB (e.g., A, B, X, Y, L, R, ZL, ZR, Left Stick Click, Right Stick Click, +Control Pad). The Program LED will flash 3 times to indicate successful mapping.
4. To clear a mapped AGB, repeat steps 1-2, then press the Program Button again.

Motion Controls

This controller supports motion controls, allowing for immersive gameplay in compatible titles. Tilt and move the controller to interact with games that utilize this feature.

Important Notes

• This controller does not support HD rumble, IR (Infrared), or Amiibo NFC functionality.
• Battery life is an estimate and can vary based on usage, game type, and environmental factors.

Troubleshooting

Controller Not Pairing

• Ensure the batteries are correctly installed and have sufficient charge. Replace if necessary.
• Verify that your Nintendo Switch is updated to the latest system software.
• Make sure the controller is within range of the Nintendo Switch console.
• Try restarting your Nintendo Switch console.
• If multiple controllers are connected, try disconnecting others to simplify the pairing process.

Buttons or Joysticks Unresponsive

• Check battery levels; low batteries can affect performance.
• Ensure the controller is properly paired and connected to the console.
• Clean any debris around buttons or joysticks.
