Setup
Battery Installation
The iProtec Inspector Pen Light requires two AAA batteries.
- Unscrew the tail cap of the pen light by turning it counter-clockwise.
- Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the battery compartment. The positive end typically faces the head of the flashlight.
- Screw the tail cap back on clockwise until it is securely tightened. Overtightening is not necessary.

Operating Instructions
Power On/Off and Mode Selection
The pen light features a soft-touch button on the tail cap for operation.
- Momentary On: Lightly press and hold the tail cap button for momentary illumination. Release the button to turn off.
- Constant On/Off: Fully press the tail cap button until it clicks to turn the light on. Press again to turn it off.
- Mode Cycling: When the light is on, lightly press the button (without clicking) to cycle through the light modes: High, Low, Strobe.
Light Modes:
- High Mode: 180 lumens, 84 meter (275 feet) beam throw, approximately 2 hours runtime.
- Low Mode: 54 lumens, 46 meter (150 feet) beam throw, approximately 6 hours runtime.
- Strobe Mode: High beam strobe function, 84 meter beam, approximately 50 minutes runtime.
Adjustable Zoom
The iProtec Inspector Pen Light features a 3x adjustable zoom function.
- To adjust the beam from a spot light to a flood light, slide the head of the flashlight forward or backward.
- Extend the head for a focused spot beam.
- Retract the head for a wider flood beam.

Maintenance
Cleaning
To clean the exterior of the pen light, use a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the anodized finish.
Battery Replacement
Replace batteries when the light output diminishes. Always use fresh AAA alkaline batteries. Remove batteries if the device will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
O-Ring Inspection
Periodically inspect the O-rings for wear or damage to maintain the IP67 waterproof rating. Lubricate O-rings with silicone grease if necessary.

Troubleshooting
