1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the assembly, operation, and maintenance of your iDOO ID-IG201 7-Pod Mini Hydroponics Growing System. This indoor gardening system allows you to grow herbs, vegetables, fruits, and flowers year-round without soil, using a water-based nutrient solution and LED grow lights.

2. Safety Information

  • Read all instructions before using the appliance.
  • Do not immerse the electrical components in water.
  • Ensure the power supply is compatible with your local voltage (100-120V, 60Hz).
  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.
  • Unplug the system before cleaning or performing maintenance.

4. Setup

  1. Assemble the System: Insert the adjustable lamp pole into the designated slot on the base. Attach the LED grow light panel to the top of the pole.
  2. Prepare Grow Sponges: Soak the grow sponges in water for at least one hour before planting. This ensures they are fully hydrated.
  3. Plant Seeds: Place 2-3 seeds into the center hole of each grow sponge. Insert the prepared sponges into the planting pods.
  4. Add Water and Nutrients: Open the water tank cap. Fill the water tank with clean water up to the 'MAX' fill line (approximately 5 liters). Add the recommended amount of nutrient solution A and B according to the instructions on the nutrient bottles. Close the water tank cap.
  5. Place Pods: Insert the planting pods into the holes on the system's top cover. Cover each pod with a plant dome to create a humid environment for germination.
  6. Connect Power: Plug the power adapter into the system and then into a power outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Light Modes

The system features 3 smart light modes to support different growth stages. Press the 'Power' button to cycle through the modes:

  • NORMAL MODE (14h-on/10h-off): Red, blue, and white LED lights. Suitable for germination, blooming, and general viewing.
  • GROW MODE (16h-on/8h-off): Red and white LED lights. Ideal for germination and vegetative growth.
  • ENJOY MODE (12h-on/12h-off): 50% red and white LED lights. Good for germination, blooming, and viewing, with less intense light for ambient settings.

5.2. Water Pump Circulation Modes

The water pump ensures proper nutrient distribution and oxygenation.

  • Normal Mode: The water pump operates for 30 minutes and pauses for 30 minutes, cycling continuously.
  • Sleep Mode: To activate sleep mode, long-press the 'PUMP SWITCH' button for 5 seconds. The pump will turn off for 12 hours and then resume its normal cycle. This mode is useful for quiet environments.

5.3. Height Adjustment

The height of the LED grow light can be adjusted to accommodate plants at different growth stages. Simply slide the lamp pole up or down to the desired height. The maximum adjustable height is 14.57 inches.

6. Maintenance

6.1. Water and Nutrient Management

  • Refilling Water: Monitor the water level regularly. Refill the tank with fresh water when the level drops.
  • Adding Nutrients: Add nutrient solution every 1-2 weeks, or as indicated by plant growth and water consumption. Follow the dosage instructions provided with your nutrient solution.
  • Full Water Change: It is recommended to perform a full water change and clean the water tank at least once a month to prevent algae buildup and ensure optimal plant health.

6.2. Cleaning

  • Unplug the system before cleaning.
  • Wipe down the exterior of the system with a damp cloth.
  • For the water tank, empty all water and gently scrub any residue. Rinse thoroughly before refilling.
  • Clean the water pump at least once a month to ensure proper circulation. Refer to the pump's specific cleaning instructions if available.

7. Troubleshooting
