Setup and Assembly
1. Charging the Battery
The 20V MAX Lithium-Ion battery (included) must be fully charged before first use. Connect the charger to a standard electrical outlet and insert the battery pack into the charger. The indicator light on the charger will show the charging status. Refer to the charger's specific instructions for detailed charging times and indicator meanings.
2. String Trimmer Assembly
- Attach the guard to the trimmer head using the provided fasteners. Ensure it is securely fastened to prevent debris from being thrown.
- Adjust the height of the shaft to a comfortable operating position. Secure the adjustment mechanism firmly.
- Install the auxiliary handle for better control and balance.
3. Sweeper Assembly
Attach the removable tube to the main body of the sweeper. Ensure it clicks into place securely. This tube can be removed for easy storage.
Operating Instructions
Using the String Trimmer
- Ensure the battery is fully charged and securely inserted into the trimmer.
- Hold the trimmer firmly with both hands, maintaining a balanced stance.
- To start, press the safety lock-off button (if present) and then squeeze the trigger.
- Move the trimmer in a sweeping motion, keeping the cutting line parallel to the ground.
- The auto single-line feed system will automatically advance the line as needed. Avoid hitting hard objects to prevent line breakage.

Using the Sweeper
- Insert the charged battery into the sweeper.
- Hold the sweeper by the overmold handle.
- To start, squeeze the trigger.
- Direct the airflow towards debris to clear surfaces. The powerful 130 MPH air speed is effective for leaves and light debris.
- To stop, release the trigger.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your tools.
- Cleaning: After each use, remove the battery and clean the tools with a damp cloth. Remove any grass clippings or debris from the trimmer head and sweeper nozzle. Do not use harsh chemicals.
- Line Replacement (Trimmer): When the cutting line is depleted, replace it with 0.065-inch diameter line. Refer to the trimmer's specific instructions for the correct replacement procedure.
- Storage: Store the tools and battery in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Remove the battery from the tools before storage. The sweeper tube can be removed for more compact storage.
