4. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your table saw for operation:

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect for any shipping damage.

  3. Blade Installation:
    • Ensure the saw is unplugged.
    • Raise the blade arbor to its maximum height.

    • Reinstall the outer blade flange and tighten the arbor nut securely.

  5. Rip Fence Installation and Calibration:
    • Slide the rip fence onto the front and rear rails.

5. Operating Instructions

This section outlines the basic operation of your table saw.

  2. Blade Height Adjustment: Use the handwheel to raise or lower the blade. For most cuts, the blade should extend approximately 1/8 inch above the workpiece.
  3. Bevel Angle Adjustment: Loosen the bevel lock and tilt the blade to the desired angle (0 to 45 degrees). Tighten the lock securely before cutting. Max. Depth of Cut at 90º is 3.5 in. (88.9mm); Max. Depth of Cut at 45º is 2.5 in. (63.5mm).
  4. Rip Cut Setup:
    • Position the rip fence to the desired width using the measurement scale.
    • Lock the fence firmly in place.
    • Max. Rip Right of Blade is 25 in. (762mm); Max. Rip Left of Blade is 12 in. (304.8mm).
  5. Crosscut Setup: Use the miter gauge for accurate crosscuts. Ensure the miter gauge slides smoothly in the miter slot.
  6. Starting the Saw: Press the ON button. Allow the blade to reach full 5000 RPM speed before beginning the cut.
  7. Making a Cut:
    • Feed the workpiece slowly and steadily into the blade.
    • Maintain firm contact with the table and fence/miter gauge.
    • Always use a push stick for narrow cuts or when your hands are close to the blade.
  8. Dado Cuts: The saw supports a Dado Capacity of 0.8125 in. x 8 in. Refer to the full manual for detailed instructions on installing and using a dado blade set.
  9. Stopping the Saw: Press the OFF button. Wait for the blade to come to a complete stop before leaving the saw or reaching near the blade.
