Setup and First Use

Charging the Speaker

Before first use, fully charge the speaker. Connect the supplied Micro USB cable to the speaker's Micro USB port and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged.

A full charge provides up to 6 hours of playtime.

Powering On/Off

Press and hold the Power Button for approximately 3 seconds to turn the speaker on or off. A voice prompt will indicate the power status.

Operating Instructions

Bluetooth Mode

  1. Turn on the speaker. It will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode, indicated by a flashing blue LED light and a voice prompt.
  2. Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone or other Bluetooth-enabled device.
  3. Search for "Coby Powergrip II" in your device's Bluetooth list and select it to pair.
  4. Once successfully paired, the LED light will turn solid blue, and you will hear a confirmation sound.
  5. You can now play audio from your device through the speaker.

True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing: To pair two Coby Powergrip II speakers for stereo sound:

  1. Ensure both speakers are turned on and not connected to any Bluetooth device.
  2. On one speaker, double-press the Mode Button. The speaker will enter TWS pairing mode.
  3. The two speakers will automatically connect to each other. A confirmation sound will indicate successful TWS pairing.
  4. Once TWS paired, connect your device to one of the speakers via Bluetooth as described above. Both speakers will now play audio in stereo.

Hands-Free Calling

When connected via Bluetooth, the speaker can be used for hands-free calls thanks to its built-in microphone.

FM Radio Mode

  1. Turn on the speaker and short press the Mode Button until you hear the FM Radio voice prompt.
  2. Long press the Power Button to automatically scan and save available FM stations.
  3. Use the Volume Up/Next Track and Volume Down/Previous Track buttons to navigate between saved stations.

AUX Mode

Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player, computer) using the included 3.5mm AUX cable to the speaker's AUX port. The speaker will automatically switch to AUX mode or you can select it using the Mode Button.

USB/TF Card Mode

Insert a USB flash drive or TF (MicroSD) card into the respective port. The speaker will automatically detect the storage device and begin playing audio files. Use the track control buttons to navigate songs.
