4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Front Panel Controls

• +48V (Phantom Power): Activates 48V phantom power for condenser microphones. Press the button for the respective channel.
• INST/LINE/HI-Z Buttons: Selects the input type for each channel. "INST" for instruments, "LINE" for line-level devices, and "HI-Z" for high-impedance instruments.
• Gain Knobs: Adjusts the input gain for each channel. Use the LED meters to monitor input levels and prevent clipping.
• Legacy 4K Buttons: Engages the analogue enhancement mode for each channel.
• Monitor Level Knob: Controls the overall output volume for your main studio monitors.
• Monitor Mix (Input/USB): Blends the direct input signal with the playback signal from your computer (USB). Turn towards "INPUT" for more direct monitoring, or towards "USB" for more playback.
