4. Setup and Installation
4.1 Physical Connections
- Attach the Stand: Securely attach the phone stand to the back of the main unit.
- Connect the Handset: Plug one end of the coiled handset cord into the handset and the other end into the handset port on the phone base.
- Connect the Gooseneck Microphone: Insert the gooseneck microphone into its dedicated port on the top of the phone unit. Ensure it is firmly seated.
- Connect to Network:
- Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the LAN port on the phone and the other end to a network switch or router.
- If connecting a PC, use the PC port on the phone to connect to your computer.

4.2 Initial Boot-up
Once powered on, the phone will initiate its boot-up sequence. The main display will show the Fanvil logo and then proceed to load the operating system. This process may take a few minutes. After successful boot-up, the phone will attempt to obtain an IP address and register with your SIP server.

5.1 Making and Receiving Calls
- To Make a Call:
- Pick up the handset, press the speakerphone button, or press a line key.
- Dial the desired number using the keypad.
- Press the Dial soft key or wait for the call to connect automatically.
- To Answer a Call:
- Pick up the handset, press the speakerphone button, or press the flashing line key.
- To End a Call: Hang up the handset or press the End Call soft key.
5.2 Using DSS Keys
The two 3.5-inch side color displays are dedicated to DSS (Direct Station Selection) keys. These keys can be programmed for various functions such as speed dial, busy lamp field (BLF), intercom, paging, and more. Consult your system administrator for specific programming details.
- One-Click Call: Press a programmed DSS key to instantly dial a contact or initiate a specific function.
- Paging/Broadcasting: Utilize programmed DSS keys for quick access to paging or broadcasting functions across designated zones.
5.3 Gooseneck Microphone

5.4 Bluetooth Connectivity
