5. Setup and Installation
Before installation, ensure your water supply is turned off. It is recommended to have a professional plumber install the faucet if you are not familiar with plumbing work.
- Prepare the Sink Hole: Ensure the sink hole is clean and appropriately sized for a single-hole installation.
- Install the Faucet Body: Insert the faucet body into the sink hole. Ensure the non-slip base is correctly positioned under the faucet body on the sink surface.
- Secure the Faucet: From underneath the sink, slide the metal washer and rubber washer onto the threaded shank of the faucet. Secure it with the fixing nut. Tighten the nut firmly to prevent wobbling, but do not overtighten.
- Connect Water Supply Hoses: The tap comes with pre-installed cold and hot water braided hoses. Connect these hoses to your hot and cold water supply lines. Use the provided G3/8" to G1/2" adapters if your supply lines are G1/2". Ensure all connections are tight to prevent leaks.
- Install Gravity Ball: Attach the gravity ball to the pull-out hose underneath the sink. This provides the necessary weight for the sprayer to retract smoothly. Position it approximately 6-8 inches from the end of the hose.
- Test for Leaks: Once all connections are made, slowly turn on the main water supply. Check all connections for any signs of leaks. If leaks are detected, tighten the connections as necessary.
6. Operating Instructions
Your Ibergrif M22137 Kitchen Tap is designed for intuitive and efficient operation.
- Water Flow and Temperature Control:
- The single lever handle controls both water flow and temperature.
- Lift the handle to increase water flow. Push down to decrease or turn off.
- Move the handle to the right for cold water and to the left for hot water. The cold start design ensures that when the handle is in the central position, only cold water flows, saving energy.

- Pull-Out Sprayer Functionality:
- Gently pull the spray head from the spout to extend the hose. The hose extends up to 40cm (15.7 inches) for extended reach.
- After use, the gravity ball will assist the spray head in retracting smoothly back into the spout.

- Spray Modes:
- The spray head features buttons to switch between three modes:
- Stream Mode: Ideal for filling pots and general washing.
- Spray Mode: Provides a powerful spray for rinsing dishes and heavy-duty cleaning.
- Pause Mode: Temporarily stops water flow without turning off the main handle, useful for moving the sprayer between tasks without splashing.

- 360° Swivel Spout:
- The faucet spout can rotate 360 degrees, allowing you to direct water flow to any part of your sink, making it convenient for single or double sinks.

7. Maintenance
Regular cleaning and maintenance will help preserve the finish and functionality of your Ibergrif kitchen tap.
- Cleaning the Finish: Use a soft, damp cloth and mild soap to clean the brushed nickel finish. Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or scouring pads, as these can damage the surface. Rinse thoroughly with water and dry with a soft cloth to prevent water spots.
- Cleaning the Spray Nozzles: The spray head features easy-clean rubber nozzles. If mineral deposits build up, gently rub the rubber nozzles with your finger or a soft brush to dislodge them. This will restore the spray pattern.
- Check for Leaks: Periodically inspect all connections under the sink for any signs of leaks. Tighten connections if necessary.
- Cartridge Maintenance: The ceramic cartridge is designed for long-term, leak-free performance. If you notice a persistent drip or difficulty controlling water flow/temperature, the cartridge may need inspection or replacement by a qualified professional.
