This remote control offers several methods for programming. Choose the method that best suits your TV brand and preference.
2.1. No Setup Required (Pre-programmed Brands)
The remote control is pre-programmed to work directly with most LG, Samsung, and Sony TVs. For these brands, simply install batteries and test the remote's functionality.
2.2. Programming by Code Input
- Turn on your TV and ensure it is in a normal viewing state. Aim the remote control towards the TV.
- Press and hold the SET button, then press the POWER button. Release both buttons once the indicator lamp on the remote lights up. The remote is now in code input mode.
- Enter the three-digit code corresponding to your TV brand. The indicator lamp will flash once for each digit entered. After entering all three digits, the indicator lamp will turn off, indicating successful setting.
- If your TV brand has multiple codes, try the first one listed.
- Test the remote's functions, such as MUTE. If the remote does not function correctly, repeat steps 2-5 with the next code for your TV brand until a suitable code is found.
Note: If the remote ignores keypresses for 30 seconds during code input, press the SET button to save the last entered code.
2.3. Manual Code Search
- Turn on your TV and ensure it is in a normal viewing state. Aim the remote control towards the TV.
- Press and hold the SET button, then press the POWER button. Release both buttons once the indicator lamp on the remote lights up. The remote is now in manual code search mode.
- Press the VOLUME+ or VOLUME- button once. The indicator lamp will flash once.
- Check if the volume symbol appears on your TV screen. If not, please repeat this procedure.
2.4. Automatic Code Search
- Turn on your TV and ensure it is in a normal viewing state. Aim the remote control towards the TV.
- Press and hold the SET button for approximately 4 seconds until the indicator lamp lights up. The remote will enter automatic search mode.
- Observe your TV screen for the volume symbol to appear. Once the volume symbol appears, immediately release the SET button. The setting is complete.
- Test other function buttons (excluding SET, POWER, and VOLUME), such as MUTE. If they are not working, repeat steps 2 and 3 until a suitable code is found.
2.5. Point-to-Point Brand Search
- Turn on your TV and ensure it is in a normal viewing state. Aim the remote control towards the TV.
- Locate the corresponding brand button for your TV on the remote control. For example, SHARP is assigned to button '1'.

5. Troubleshooting
- Remote not working after battery installation:
- Ensure batteries are inserted with correct polarity.
- Replace with fresh batteries.
- Verify the remote is correctly programmed to your TV using one of the setup methods (Section 2).
- Some buttons not functioning:
- This may indicate an incorrect or incomplete programming. Try reprogramming the remote using a different code or search method.
- Ensure your TV supports the specific function (e.g., 3D, Smart features).
- Remote indicator lamp not lighting up:
- Check battery power and polarity.
- If the issue persists, the remote may be faulty.
- Remote only controls volume/power, not other functions:
- This often happens during automatic search if the SET button is released too late. Repeat the automatic search method, releasing the SET button immediately when the volume symbol appears.
- Try other programming methods.
