3. Installation
The Simfer BO 4500 oven must be installed by a qualified professional in accordance with local regulations and the provided installation diagram. Ensure proper ventilation and electrical connections.
Dimensions and Cabinet Requirements:
Refer to the diagram below for precise dimensions and cabinet cutout requirements. The oven dimensions are approximately 56.5 cm (L) x 45 cm (W) x 59.5 cm (H).

Initial Use (Burn-in):
Before cooking food, operate the oven empty for approximately 30 minutes at 240°C (using top and bottom heat with convection) to burn off any manufacturing residues. Ensure adequate ventilation during this process as a slight odor may be present.
4. Operating Instructions
The Simfer BO 4500 oven is controlled by three mechanical knobs on the front panel.

Control Panel Functions:
- Left Knob: Function Selector (P) - Choose one of the 6 cooking modes.
- Middle Knob: Mechanical Timer - Set the desired cooking duration. The oven will switch off automatically when the timer expires. To operate without a timer, turn the knob counter-clockwise to the manual position (indicated by a steaming dish symbol).
- Right Knob: Temperature Control (°C) - Adjust the oven temperature from 50°C to 240°C.
Cooking Functions:
- 1. Top and Bottom Heat with Convection: Ideal for baking and roasting on multiple levels.
- 2. Top and Bottom Heat: Suitable for traditional baking and roasting on one level.
- 3. Top Heat: For browning the top of dishes.
- 4. Bottom Heat: For crisping the base of dishes.
- 5. Large Grill: For grilling larger quantities of food.
- 6. Large Grill with Convection: Combines grilling with fan assistance for even browning and faster cooking.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning and maintenance ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your oven. Always ensure the oven is cool and disconnected from the power supply before cleaning.
Cleaning the Oven Cavity:
- Wipe the interior with a soft cloth and mild detergent after each use.
- For stubborn stains, use a specialized oven cleaner, following the product instructions carefully.
- Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads that can damage the enamel surface.
Cleaning the Oven Door:
The oven door features double glazing, and the inner glass can be removed for thorough cleaning.

- Wipe the exterior glass with a soft cloth and glass cleaner.

The standard baking tray and cooking grid can be washed by hand with warm soapy water or placed in a dishwasher if suitable.
