2. Product Overview
The EuropAce ECO 5802T is a 5-in-1 evaporative air cooler designed to provide cooling, humidification, air purification (ionizer), and ventilation functions. It features a 20-liter water tank capacity and a delayed switch-off function for honeycomb filter drying.

3. Setup
3.1 Unpacking
- Carefully remove the air cooler from its packaging.
- Check for any damage during transit. If damaged, do not operate and contact customer support.
- Ensure all accessories listed in Section 2.4 are present.
3.2 Filling the Water Tank
- Ensure the appliance is unplugged from the power outlet.
- Locate the water tank access point, typically at the bottom rear or side of the unit.
- Pull out the water tank or open the water inlet cover.
- Fill the tank with clean, cool water. Do not exceed the 'MAX' fill line. The tank capacity is 20 liters.
- Close the water tank access point securely.
3.3 Using Ice Packs (Optional)
For enhanced cooling, you can use the provided ice packs:
- Place the ice packs in a freezer until completely frozen.
- After filling the water tank, carefully place the frozen ice packs into the water tank.
- Ensure the ice packs do not obstruct the water pump or other internal components.
3.4 Power Connection
- Place the air cooler on a firm, level surface.
- Ensure the power cord is fully extended and not tangled.
- Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
4. Operation
The air cooler can be operated using the control panel on the unit or the remote control.
4.1 Power On/Off
- Press the On/Off button once to turn the unit on.
- Press the On/Off button again to turn the unit off.
4.2 Speed Settings
- Press the Speed button repeatedly to cycle through fan speeds: Low (1), Medium (2), High (3).
4.3 Mode Selection
- Press the Mode button to select different airflow modes:
- Normal: Constant airflow at selected speed.
- Natural: Simulates natural breeze with varying fan speeds.
- Sleep: Gradually reduces fan speed for quiet operation during sleep.
4.4 Cool Function (Evaporative Cooling)
- Press the Cool button to activate the evaporative cooling function. The water pump will start circulating water over the honeycomb filter.
- Press the Cool button again to deactivate this function.
4.5 Swing Function
- Press the Swing button to activate the automatic oscillation of the vertical louvers, distributing air across a wider area.
- Press the Swing button again to stop oscillation.
4.6 Ionizer Function
- Press the Ion button to activate the built-in ionizer, which helps to purify the air.
- Press the Ion button again to deactivate the ionizer.
4.7 Timer Function
- Press the Timer button repeatedly to set the desired operating time (e.g., 1H, 2H, 4H, 8H). The unit will automatically turn off after the set time.
4.8 Auto Dim Control Panel Light
The control panel light will automatically dim after a period of inactivity to reduce disturbance, especially in dark environments.
5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your air cooler.
5.1 Cleaning the Honeycomb Filter
The honeycomb filter should be cleaned regularly, especially if the unit is used frequently.
- Unplug the air cooler from the power outlet.
- Remove the rear filter panel (refer to Figure 2 for location).
- Carefully slide out the honeycomb filter.
- Rinse the filter under running water to remove dust and debris. For stubborn dirt, use a soft brush and mild detergent.
- Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinserting it.
5.2 Cleaning the Water Tank
To prevent mold and mildew growth, clean the water tank regularly.
- Unplug the air cooler.
- Drain any remaining water from the tank.
- Remove the water tank (if detachable) or access the interior.
- Wipe the interior of the tank with a soft cloth and a mild cleaning solution.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove any cleaning residue.
- Allow the tank to dry completely before reassembling.
5.3 Delayed Switch-Off for Filter Drying
This feature helps to dry the honeycomb filter after use, preventing odors and mold.
- When the unit is turned off after using the 'Cool' function, the fan may continue to run for a short period (e.g., 10-15 minutes) to dry the filter. Do not unplug the unit during this process.
5.4 Exterior Cleaning
- Wipe the exterior surfaces of the air cooler with a soft, damp cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
5.5 Storage
- Before storing, ensure the water tank is empty and clean, and the honeycomb filter is dry.
- Store the appliance in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your air cooler, refer to the following table for common problems and solutions.
