- Your VHS/Camcorder tapes MUST be in working condition. (If your VCR/camcorder can't play it, our converter can't capture it!)
- Recording resolution: 640x480 pixels or 720x480 pixels. (Does NOT upscale to HD quality. Does NOT record from HDMI sources.)
- To avoid corrupt recording files, you MUST stop recording by pressing "Rec/Stop" BEFORE removing your USB drive/SD card.

Setup
Follow these steps to set up your ClearClick Video to Digital Converter 2.0:
- Power Connection: Connect the included power adapter to the "DC 5V/1A" power jack on the converter and plug it into a wall outlet. The device will power on automatically or can be turned on using the Power button.
- Connect Video Source:
- For RCA (Yellow, White, Red) output from your VCR, camcorder, or other source: Connect the RCA cables from your source's "AV OUT" ports to the corresponding "AV IN" ports on the converter.
- For S-Video output (optional, if your source has it): Connect an S-Video cable from your source's S-Video output to the "S-Video In" port on the converter. You will still need to connect the white and red audio RCA cables for sound.
- Insert Storage Device: Insert a USB flash drive (up to 128GB, FAT32/exFAT format recommended) into the "USB Flash Drive Port" or an SD card (up to 128GB, FAT32/exFAT format recommended) into the "SD Card Slot". Your digital video files will be saved here.
- (Optional) Connect to TV/Monitor: If you wish to view the converter's screen on a larger display, connect an HDMI cable from the "HDMI Output" port on the converter to an HDMI input on your TV or monitor.
Operating Instructions
This section details how to record and manage your digital video files.
Recording Video:
- Ensure your video source (VCR, camcorder, etc.) is connected and powered on, and a USB drive or SD card is inserted into the converter.
- Play the video on your source device that you wish to record. You should see the video playing on the converter's 3.5-inch LCD screen.
- Press the Rec/Stop button on the converter to begin recording. A red indicator light will illuminate, and a recording icon will appear on the screen.
- To pause recording, press the OK button. Press OK again to resume recording. This feature allows you to skip unwanted sections of your tape.
- When you are finished recording, press the Rec/Stop button again to stop the recording. The recording will be saved as an MP4 file on your USB drive or SD card.
- Important: Always stop recording by pressing the Rec/Stop button before removing your USB drive or SD card to prevent file corruption.
