- Remote Sensors: Open the battery compartment cover on the back of each sensor. Insert 2 AAA batteries (not included) into each sensor, observing polarity. Close the covers.
Note: When the low battery icon appears on the display for a sensor, replace its batteries promptly.
4.2 Sensor Pairing
The main unit and remote sensors should automatically pair once batteries are installed. If a sensor does not display data, follow these steps:
- Ensure batteries are correctly installed in both the main unit and the remote sensor.
- Press the 'CHANNEL' button on the main unit to cycle through channels 1, 2, and 3.
- On the remote sensor, there is a small channel switch (1, 2, or 3). Ensure each sensor is set to a unique channel.
- Press the 'TX' button inside the remote sensor's battery compartment (or on the back) to manually send a signal.
- Bring the sensor closer to the main unit during pairing. Once paired, you can place them further apart.
4.3 Placement Guidelines
- Main Unit: Place the main unit indoors on a flat surface using its integrated stand, or mount it on a wall using the hang hole. Avoid direct sunlight or heat sources.
- Remote Sensors: Place remote sensors in desired indoor or outdoor locations. For outdoor use, the transmitter is not waterproof. It is recommended to place it under an eaves or in a sheltered area to protect it from direct rain and harsh weather conditions.

7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No display on main unit or sensor. | Batteries are dead or incorrectly installed. | Check battery polarity and replace with fresh batteries. |
| Remote sensor not transmitting data. | Sensor out of range, interference, or pairing issue. | Move sensor closer to the main unit. Ensure no large metal objects are blocking the signal. Re-pair the sensor (see Section 4.2). Check sensor batteries. |
| Inaccurate readings. | Sensor placed in direct sunlight, near heat/cold sources, or in high humidity. | Relocate the sensor to a more stable environment. Allow time for readings to stabilize. |
| Low battery icon displayed. | Batteries are low. | Replace the batteries in the indicated unit (main or specific sensor). |
