5. Setup & Installation
Required Tools (not included): Measuring tape, pencil, screwdriver, drill (optional, for pilot holes).
- Measure Cabinet Space: Before installation, measure the internal width and depth of your cabinet to ensure the drawer (44 x 47 x 14 cm for the 60 cm model) will fit correctly. Allow sufficient clearance for the slides.
- Separate Slides: Gently pull the telescopic slides apart. The inner part of the slide will detach from the outer part. The outer part attaches to the cabinet, and the inner part attaches to the basket.
- Mount Outer Slides to Cabinet: Position the outer slide rails on the bottom sides of your cabinet, ensuring they are level and parallel. Mark the screw holes with a pencil. Use the provided screws to securely attach the outer slides to the cabinet walls or base.
- Attach Inner Slides to Basket: Align the inner slide rails with the mounting points on the wire basket. Secure them using the provided screws.
- Insert Basket into Cabinet: Carefully slide the basket (with inner rails attached) into the outer rails mounted in the cabinet. Ensure the ball bearings engage smoothly.
- Test Functionality: Gently pull the drawer in and out to ensure it slides smoothly and without obstruction. Adjust if necessary.

7. Maintenance & Care
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your AREBOS drawer, follow these simple care instructions:
- Cleaning: Wipe the stainless steel surfaces with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, which can scratch the finish. Dry thoroughly after cleaning.
- Slide Lubrication: If the slides begin to feel stiff or noisy over time, apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant to the ball bearings. Do not use oil-based lubricants, as they can attract dust and debris.
- Inspection: Periodically inspect the mounting screws and slide mechanisms for any signs of loosening or wear. Tighten screws as needed.
8. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Drawer does not slide smoothly. | Misalignment of slides, debris in slides, lack of lubrication, overloaded drawer. | Check slide alignment and adjust. Clean slides of any debris. Apply silicone lubricant. Reduce load. |
| Drawer is noisy when opening/closing. | Lack of lubrication, loose mounting screws. | Apply silicone lubricant to slides. Tighten all mounting screws. |
| Drawer feels wobbly or unstable. | Loose mounting screws, uneven installation. | Ensure all mounting screws are securely tightened. Verify that the slides are level and parallel. |
| Drawer does not fully retract. | Obstruction in cabinet, damaged slide. | Check for any items blocking the drawer's path. Inspect slides for damage; replace if necessary. |
