1. Safety Information
Please read and understand all safety information before assembling or operating this product. Failure to follow these instructions may result in injury or damage.
- Secure the Umbrella: Always use a weighted umbrella base (not included) to ensure stability. Never use the umbrella without a proper base.
- Wind Conditions: Close and secure the umbrella during windy conditions or when not in use. Strong winds can cause the umbrella to tip over or become damaged.
- Weather Protection: While the fabric is water-resistant, prolonged exposure to heavy rain or extreme weather is not recommended. Store the umbrella in a dry, protected area during off-season or severe weather.
- Clearance: Ensure adequate clearance around the umbrella when opening and closing to avoid contact with objects or people.
- Children and Pets: Keep children and pets away from the umbrella during operation to prevent accidents.
2. Package Contents
Verify that all components are present before beginning assembly. If any parts are missing or damaged, please contact customer support.
- 1 x Double-Sided Rectangular Umbrella Canopy
- 1 x Umbrella Pole with Crank Mechanism
- 12 x Steel Ribs (pre-attached to canopy)
Note: An umbrella base is not included and must be purchased separately. A weighted base is highly recommended for stability.
3. Setup Instructions
- Prepare the Area: Choose a flat, stable surface for your umbrella. Ensure there is enough space (13 ft x 6.5 ft) for the canopy to fully extend without obstruction.
- Install the Base: Place your weighted umbrella base (not included) in the desired location. Follow the base manufacturer's instructions for proper installation and weighting.
- Insert the Pole: Carefully insert the umbrella pole into the opening of your weighted base. Tighten any securing knobs or screws on the base to hold the pole firmly in place.
- Attach the Canopy: The canopy and ribs are typically pre-assembled. Ensure all ribs are properly connected to the central hub.
- Open the Umbrella: Locate the crank handle on the umbrella pole. Turn the crank handle clockwise to slowly open the umbrella canopy until it is fully extended and taut. Do not force the crank if resistance is met.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Opening the Umbrella
To open the umbrella, turn the crank handle located on the pole in a clockwise direction. Continue turning until the canopy is fully extended and provides maximum shade. Do not over-tighten.
4.2 Closing the Umbrella
To close the umbrella, turn the crank handle in a counter-clockwise direction. The canopy will retract and fold neatly against the pole. Once fully closed, it is recommended to secure the canopy with a tie strap (if included or available) to prevent it from unfurling in the wind.
4.3 Solar LED Lights (if applicable)
Some models may include solar-powered LED lights. These lights typically have a small solar panel on top of the umbrella and a power button on the pole. Ensure the solar panel receives direct sunlight during the day to charge. Press the power button to activate the lights in the evening.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning the Canopy
Clean the polyester fabric canopy periodically with mild soap and water. Use a soft brush or cloth to gently scrub away dirt and debris. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and allow the canopy to air dry completely before closing or storing.
5.2 Frame and Ribs
Inspect the steel frame and ribs regularly for any signs of rust, damage, or loose connections. Clean the frame with a damp cloth. If rust appears, treat it with a rust-inhibiting primer and paint to prevent further corrosion.

5.3 Storage
During periods of non-use, especially in harsh weather or off-season, it is recommended to close the umbrella and cover it with a protective cover (not included) or store it indoors. This will prolong the life and appearance of your umbrella.
6. Troubleshooting
- Umbrella won't open/close smoothly: Check for any obstructions in the crank mechanism or canopy fabric. Ensure the pole is correctly seated in the base and not bent. Apply a silicone-based lubricant to moving parts if necessary.
- Umbrella is unstable: Verify that a sufficiently weighted base is being used. Ensure the pole is fully inserted and secured in the base. Avoid using the umbrella in high winds.
- Canopy fading: While the fabric is fade-resistant, prolonged exposure to intense sunlight can still cause some fading over time. Using a protective cover when not in use can help minimize this.
