3. Setup Guide
Follow these steps to set up your ANRAN B4 Security Camera:
- Download the CloudEdge App: Scan the QR code in the Quick Start Guide or search for "CloudEdge" in your device's app store (available on App Store and Google Play).
- Power On and Reset: Plug in the camera. Once powered, locate the reset button (usually near the micro SD card slot) and press it for a few seconds until you hear a prompt or see the indicator light blinking red.
- Connect to 2.4GHz WiFi: Ensure your mobile device is connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi network. The camera only supports 2.4GHz WiFi.
- Add Device in App: Open the CloudEdge app, create an account if you haven't already, and tap the '+' icon to add a new device. Follow the on-screen prompts to connect your camera to your WiFi network. This typically involves scanning a QR code displayed on your phone with the camera lens.
- Mount the Camera: Use the provided mounting bracket, screws, and wall plugs to securely install the camera in your desired outdoor location. The adjustable mount allows for flexible positioning.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Pan Rotation 180°
The ANRAN B4 camera features an innovative 180° pan rotation, allowing for a wide field of view up to 270°. Use the controls within the CloudEdge app to remotely adjust the camera's horizontal viewing angle, covering more area and reducing blind spots.

4.2 Image and Video Quality
Equipped with a Super HD image sensor and optical lens, the camera delivers crisp 1080P Full HD images and videos. It also features excellent night vision up to 80ft, thanks to 12 powerful Infrared LEDs, ensuring clear visibility even in darkness.

4.3 Storage Options
The camera supports multiple and flexible storage methods:
- Micro SD Card: Supports up to 128GB (not included) for 24/7 continuous loop recording.
- Cloud Storage: Offers a 7-day free trial cloud service with encrypted secure data and privacy protection. Optional subscription available for extended cloud storage.

4.4 Motion Alert and Two-Way Talk
Receive instant notifications on your mobile device when unexpected visitors are detected. The camera also supports two-way audio, allowing you to talk to visitors or deter intruders using the CloudEdge app. The 2.4G WiFi connection provides a stronger signal for outdoor use compared to 5G WiFi.

4.5 Multi-User Sharing and Remote Access
The CloudEdge app allows for multi-user sharing, enabling family members or trusted individuals to access the live view and footage simultaneously. You can remotely access your camera's feed from anywhere with an internet connection.

5. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Periodically wipe the camera lens and body with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust and debris. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Connection Check: Regularly verify the camera's WiFi connection strength in the app to ensure stable performance.
- SD Card Management: If using local storage, periodically check the SD card status in the app. Format the SD card as needed to maintain optimal recording performance.
- Firmware Updates: Check the CloudEdge app settings for available firmware updates. Keeping the firmware updated ensures optimal performance and security.
6. Troubleshooting
6.1 Common Issues & Solutions
- Camera Offline: Ensure the camera is powered on and connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi network. Check your router's status. Try resetting the camera by pressing the reset button for a few seconds.
- App Connection Issues: Verify your phone is connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi network. Ensure the CloudEdge app is updated to the latest version. Try restarting the app or your phone.
- Motion Detection Not Working: Check the motion detection sensitivity settings in the app. Ensure the detection zone is correctly configured. Verify that notifications are enabled on your phone.
- No Vertical Pan: Please note that this model (B4) features 180° horizontal pan rotation only and does not support vertical tilt.
- Poor Image Quality: Ensure the lens is clean. Check your network speed. If using standard definition, try switching to HD quality in the app settings.
