- Attach the disc sander work table to the designated mounting points using the provided hardware. Ensure it is securely fastened.
- Attach the belt sander work table. This table can be adjusted for angle.
4.2 Installing Sanding Media
- Sanding Disc: Peel the backing from the new sanding disc and carefully align it with the disc plate. Press firmly to ensure good adhesion.
- Sanding Belt: Release the belt tension lever. Slide the new sanding belt onto the rollers, ensuring the directional arrow on the belt matches the rotation direction indicated on the machine. Re-engage the tension lever.
4.3 Connecting to Power

5. Operating Instructions
This sander offers both disc and belt sanding capabilities. Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) before operation.
5.1 Powering On/Off
- To turn the sander ON, press the green 'I' button on the power switch.
- To turn the sander OFF, press the red 'O' button.
5.2 Adjusting Work Table Angles
- Disc Sander Table: Loosen the locking knob beneath the disc table. Adjust the table to the desired angle (up to 45 degrees) using the angle scale. Tighten the knob to secure the table.
- Belt Sander Table: Loosen the locking lever on the side of the belt sander. Adjust the belt unit to the desired position (vertical, horizontal, or any angle in between). Tighten the lever to secure.
5.3 Sanding Techniques
- General Sanding: Hold the workpiece firmly against the work table and gently move it across the sanding surface. Apply even, moderate pressure.
- Edge Sanding (Disc): Use the disc sander for precise edge finishing. Ensure the workpiece is supported by the table and moved smoothly across the disc.
- Surface Sanding (Belt): The belt sander is ideal for larger surfaces and removing material quickly. Move the workpiece consistently along the belt to avoid uneven sanding.
- Avoid applying excessive pressure, as this can overheat the motor, damage the sanding media, or cause kickback.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your sander.
6.1 Cleaning
- After each use, disconnect the power and clean the machine. Remove sawdust and debris from the work tables, motor housing, and sanding areas using a brush or compressed air.
- Ensure ventilation openings are clear to prevent overheating.
6.2 Changing Sanding Media
- Sanding Disc: To replace a worn disc, peel it off the disc plate. Clean any adhesive residue before applying a new disc.
- Sanding Belt: To replace a worn belt, release the tension lever, remove the old belt, and install a new one as described in Section 4.2.
6.3 Lubrication
The motor bearings are typically sealed and do not require lubrication. Refer to a qualified service technician for any internal lubrication needs.
