This manual provides detailed instructions for setting up, operating, and maintaining your earbuds to ensure optimal performance and longevity. The Amps Air + earbuds feature Active Noise Canceling, up to 7 hours of playtime (5 hours with ANC), sweat and water resistance, and a slim charging case providing multiple recharges.

4. Setup

4.1. Charging Your Earbuds and Case

Before first use, fully charge your Amps Air + Earbuds and the charging case.

1. Charge the Case: Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the charging port on the case and to a USB power source. The LED indicators on the case will show the charging status.
2. Charge the Earbuds: Place the earbuds into their respective slots in the charging case. Ensure they are seated correctly; magnetic contacts will hold them in place. The earbuds will begin charging automatically. The LED indicators on the earbuds will illuminate to show charging status.

A full charge provides up to 7 hours of playtime (5 hours with Active Noise Canceling enabled). The charging case can provide up to 2.5 additional full charges for the earbuds.

4.2. Pairing with Your Device

The Amps Air + Earbuds utilize Bluetooth 5.0 for a stable wireless connection.

1. Initial Pairing: Open the charging case. The earbuds will automatically enter pairing mode.
2. Activate Bluetooth: On your smartphone or audio device, enable Bluetooth.
3. Select Earbuds: Look for "SOL REPUBLIC Amps Air +" in the list of available Bluetooth devices and select it to connect.
4. Confirmation: Once connected, you will hear an audio prompt, and the earbud LEDs will indicate a successful connection.

The earbuds will automatically reconnect to the last paired device when removed from the case, if Bluetooth is enabled on the device.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Touch Controls

The Amps Air + Earbuds feature intuitive touch controls on the outer surface of each earbud.

• Play/Pause Music: Double-tap the right earbud.
• Answer/End Call: Double-tap the right earbud.
• Activate Voice Assistant: Double-tap the left earbud.
• Toggle Active Noise Canceling (ANC): Triple-tap the left earbud to cycle through ANC On, Ambient Mode, and ANC Off.

5.2. Active Noise Canceling (ANC)

The Active Noise Canceling feature reduces ambient noise, allowing for a more immersive listening experience. Use the touch control (triple-tap left earbud) to activate or deactivate ANC, or to switch to Ambient Mode, which allows you to hear your surroundings.

6. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and performance of your earbuds:

• Cleaning: Regularly clean the earbuds and charging case with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Ear Tips: Remove and clean the ear tips periodically. Ensure they are dry before reattaching.
• Water Resistance: The Amps Air + Earbuds are rated IPX5 for sweat and water resistance. This means they can withstand splashes and sweat but should not be submerged in water. Dry them thoroughly after exposure to moisture.
• Storage: When not in use, store the earbuds in their charging case to protect them and keep them charged.
