The drill features a 3/8" (10mm) keyless chuck for quick and easy accessory changes.

  1. To Install: Rotate the chuck counter-clockwise until the jaws are open wide enough to insert the bit. Insert the bit fully into the chuck. Rotate the chuck clockwise to tighten the jaws firmly around the bit.
  2. To Remove: Rotate the chuck counter-clockwise to loosen the jaws and remove the bit.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Powering On/Off and Variable Speed Control

The drill is activated by pressing the variable speed control trigger. The speed of the drill is proportional to how far the trigger is pressed.

  • Press the trigger gently for slower speeds.
  • Press the trigger fully for maximum speed.
  • Release the trigger to turn the drill off.

5.2 Forward/Reverse Button

The forward/reverse button (refer to Figure 3.1) controls the direction of rotation.

  • Push the button to the left for forward rotation (for drilling and tightening screws).
  • Push the button to the right for reverse rotation (for loosening screws).
  • When the button is in the center position, the trigger is locked, preventing accidental startup.

5.3 2-Speed Gear Selector

The drill features a 2-speed gear selector (refer to Figure 3.1) for optimal performance in different applications.

  • Speed 1 (Low Speed: 0-450 RPM): Ideal for high torque applications like driving screws or drilling large holes.
  • Speed 2 (High Speed: 0-1450 RPM): Suitable for fast drilling in softer materials.

Always ensure the drill is stopped before changing the speed setting.

5.4 Torque Adjustment and Mode Selector

The torque adjustment ring (refer to Figure 3.3) allows you to select the appropriate torque setting for your task, preventing overtightening or stripping screws. The drill offers 20+3 torque settings.

  • Rotate the ring to select a number from 1 to 20 for screwdriving applications. Lower numbers are for smaller screws or softer materials; higher numbers are for larger screws or harder materials.
  • Select the Drill symbol for general drilling tasks.
  • Select the Hammer Drill symbol for drilling into masonry or concrete (if applicable to your model).

5.5 LED Light

The integrated LED light (refer to Figure 3.1) illuminates the work area when the trigger is pressed, improving visibility in dimly lit spaces.
