4. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps to set up your portable washing machine:
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the washing machine from its packaging. Inspect for any damage during transit. Remove all packing materials, including any internal supports.
- Positioning: Place the washing machine on a firm, level surface near a water source (faucet), a drain (sink or bathtub), and a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for ventilation and operation. Use the two wheels at the back bottom (Figure 7) to easily move the unit by tilting it.
- Water Inlet Connection:
- Attach the quick adapter to your standard faucet.
- Connect the inlet hose to the quick adapter on the faucet and to the water inlet port on the top rear of the washing machine (Figure 6).
- Ensure all connections are tight to prevent leaks.
- Since there is only one water inlet, adjust the water temperature directly from your faucet before starting a wash cycle.
- Drain Hose Placement:
- Place the drain hose into a sink or wash basin (Figure 5). Ensure the hose is securely positioned to prevent it from falling out during drainage, which could cause flooding.
- For optimal drainage, ensure the drain hose is not kinked or obstructed.
- Power Connection: Plug the regular 3-prong power cord into a grounded 110-volt electrical outlet.
Your washing machine is now ready for use.

6. Care and Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your washing machine.
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the machine with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish.
- Tub Cleaning: Periodically clean the stainless steel tub to prevent residue buildup. You can run an empty cycle with a washing machine cleaner or a mixture of vinegar and baking soda.
- Lint Filter: Check and clean the lint filter (if applicable, typically located inside the tub or near the drain) regularly to ensure efficient lint removal and prevent blockages.
- Drain Hose: Ensure the drain hose remains clear of debris. Some users find it helpful to place a mesh bag over the end of the drain hose to catch lint before it enters the drain.
- Inlet Hose: Inspect the inlet hose and connections periodically for any signs of wear, cracks, or leaks. Replace if necessary.
- Storage: If storing the machine for an extended period, drain all water, clean the tub, and leave the lid slightly ajar to allow for air circulation and prevent odors. Store in a dry, temperate environment.
