1. Introduction

The AdHoc Mrs. Bean Stainless Steel Manual Coffee Grinder (Model MC01US) is designed to provide freshly ground coffee beans for a superior brewing experience. 2. Setup

2.1 Unpacking and Initial Inspection

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect the grinder for any signs of damage. Ensure all parts are present: the main grinder body, the removable gear head with handle, and the collecting container.

2.2 Filling the Coffee Grinder

  1. Remove the top cover and the gear head from the main body of the grinder.
  2. Pour your desired amount of whole coffee beans into the main body. The grinder has a capacity of approximately 50 grams of coffee beans.
  3. Replace the gear head and top cover, ensuring they are securely in place.

2.3 Adjusting Grind Coarseness

The AdHoc Mrs. Bean grinder features six PRECISE+® grinding settings, allowing you to achieve your preferred coffee consistency, from very fine to coarse. To adjust the grind setting:

  1. Locate the adjustment dial at the bottom of the grinder, just above the collecting container.
  2. Turn the dial to select your desired grind setting. A lower number typically indicates a finer grind, while a higher number indicates a coarser grind.
  3. Experiment with different settings to find the ideal coarseness for your brewing method (e.g., fine for espresso, medium for drip, coarse for French press).

3. Operating Instructions

Once the beans are loaded and the grind setting is selected, you can begin grinding:

  1. Hold the grinder firmly with one hand.
  2. Turn the handle clockwise to begin grinding the coffee beans. Continue turning until all beans have been ground and collected in the bottom container.
  3. Once grinding is complete, unscrew the collecting container from the bottom of the grinder.
  4. Pour the freshly ground coffee into your brewing device.

4. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and longevity of your AdHoc Mrs. Bean coffee grinder.

4.1 Daily Cleaning

  • After each use, empty any remaining ground coffee from the collecting container.
  • Wipe the exterior of the grinder with a soft, damp cloth.

4.2 Deep Cleaning (Monthly or as needed)

  1. Disassemble the grinder by removing the collecting container, the gear head, and the top cover.
  2. The collecting container can be washed with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before reassembly.
  3. For the burr grinder mechanism and the main body, it is recommended to use a brush to remove any accumulated coffee grounds. Avoid using water directly on the burr mechanism to prevent rust and damage.
  4. Alternatively, you can grind a small amount of uncooked rice through the grinder to help dislodge and absorb coffee oils and residue from the burrs.
  5. Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling the grinder.

5. Troubleshooting
