3. Setup Guide

3.1 Unpacking and Assembly

  1. Remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Place the stainless steel feeding bowl into the designated slot at the base of the feeder.

3.2 Power Supply Installation

The feeder supports dual power options: AC adapter and D-cell batteries.

  • AC Adapter: Connect the power adapter to the feeder's power input port and plug it into a standard wall outlet.
  • Battery Backup: For backup power, open the battery compartment at the bottom of the feeder and insert 3 new D-cell batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity. This ensures operation during power outages.

3.3 Filling the Food Container

  1. Open the top lid of the feeder.
  2. Pour dry pet food into the food container. Ensure the kibble size is between 2-10mm to prevent clogging.
  3. Close the lid securely.

4. Operating Instructions

The control panel allows you to set the time, schedule meals, and record voice messages. Buttons are designed for two-hand operation to prevent accidental changes by pets.

4.1 Setting the Current Time

  1. Press and hold the "Manual Time" button until the hour display flashes.
  2. Use the "Hour" and "Minute" buttons to adjust the current time.
  3. Press "Manual Time" again to confirm and move to the minute setting, or to exit.

4.2 Programming Meal Schedules

The feeder supports up to 4 meals per day (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, 4th Meal).

  1. Press the "On/Off" button next to the desired meal (e.g., "Breakfast") to activate it. The indicator will show "on".
  2. Press the "Meal Size" button to adjust the portion size for that meal (1-15 portions, where 1 portion is approximately 5-7g).
  3. Press the "Hour" and "Minute" buttons to set the desired feeding time for that meal.
  4. Repeat for other meals as needed.
  5. To deactivate a meal, press the "On/Off" button until the indicator shows "off".

4.3 Voice Recording

Record a personalized 10-second message to alert your pet at meal times.

  1. Press and hold the "MIC" button. The microphone icon will appear on the display.
  2. Speak your message clearly into the microphone for up to 10 seconds.
  3. Release the "MIC" button to save the recording.
  4. To play back the recorded message, press the "Play" button.

4.4 Manual Feeding

To dispense food instantly outside of scheduled meal times:

  • Press the "Manual Feed" button once to dispense one portion of food.
  • Press multiple times for additional portions.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures hygiene and proper functioning of your pet feeder.

5.1 Cleaning Instructions

  • Stainless Steel Bowl: The stainless steel feeding bowl is removable and can be hand washed with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before reattaching.
  • Food Container: The food container can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Ensure it is completely dry before refilling with food.
  • Main Unit: Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water or any other liquid.

  • Always unplug the feeder and remove batteries before cleaning.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
  • Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembly and use.
