2. Important Safety Instructions
To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, please observe the following safety precautions:
- Always place the humidifier on a firm, flat, waterproof surface at least 12 inches (30 cm) away from walls and appliances.
- Do not immerse the base in water or other liquids.
- Unplug the appliance before filling, cleaning, or moving it.
- Do not operate the humidifier if the cord or plug is damaged, or if the unit malfunctions or has been dropped.
- Keep the mist outlet clear and unobstructed.
- Do not add water above the maximum fill line.
- Use only clean, cool tap water. Distilled or demineralized water is recommended to prevent white dust.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.
- Do not add essential oils directly into the water tank unless specified for the essential oil tray. This model supports adding essential oils directly to the water due to its anti-corrosion PP material.

4. Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove all packaging materials and place the humidifier on a flat, stable surface.
- Fill Water Tank: The Deerma F300 features a top-fill design. Remove the top cover and pour clean, cool water directly into the water tank. Do not exceed the maximum fill line.
- Add Essential Oils (Optional): Due to the anti-corrosion PP material, you can add a few drops of essential oil directly into the water tank if desired.
- Replace Cover: Securely place the top cover back onto the humidifier.
- Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions
- Power On: Rotate the control dial clockwise. The power indicator light will illuminate.
- Adjust Mist Output: Continue rotating the control dial clockwise to increase the mist output. Rotate counter-clockwise to decrease it. The stepless adjustment dial allows for precise control of mist intensity.
- Adjust Mist Direction: Rotate the mist outlet on top of the unit to direct the mist flow in any 360° direction.
- Auto Shut-Off: The humidifier will automatically shut off when the water level is too low. The power indicator light may change or turn off. Refill the water tank to resume operation.
- Power Off: Rotate the control dial counter-clockwise until it clicks and the power indicator light turns off. Unplug the unit when not in use.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning is essential for optimal performance and hygiene. The Deerma F300 features a 200mm wide top opening for easy cleaning access.

Daily Maintenance:
- Unplug the humidifier before cleaning.
- Empty any remaining water from the tank.
- Wipe the inside of the water tank with a clean, soft cloth.
Weekly Cleaning:
- Water Tank: Remove the top cover. Use a soft brush or cloth to clean the inside of the water tank. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
- Base Unit: Gently wipe the surface of the ultrasonic transducer (the small disc inside the base) with a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or sharp objects.
- Descaling: If mineral deposits (white dust) accumulate, mix equal parts white vinegar and water. Pour the solution into the water tank and let it sit for 30 minutes. Gently scrub with a soft brush, then rinse thoroughly until the vinegar smell is gone.
- Mist Outlet: Clean the mist outlet with a soft cloth to remove any residue.
Storage:
When not in use for an extended period, clean the humidifier thoroughly, ensure all parts are dry, and store it in a cool, dry place.
