4. Setup and Installation

Before connecting, ensure your host device's USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alt Mode and Power Delivery. Driver installation is required for triple display functionality.

  1. Driver Installation: Download and install the DisplayLink driver from the official DisplayLink website or contact TOTU service for assistance.
  2. Power Connection: Connect the provided 60W DC power adapter to the 'DC IN' port on the docking station, then plug it into a power outlet.
  3. Host Connection: Connect the provided USB-C cable from the docking station's 'USB-C Host' port to your computer's USB-C port.
  4. Display Connection: Connect your monitors to the HDMI and DisplayPort outputs on the docking station using appropriate cables. Note: Use HDMI 2.0 or above cables for optimal performance. The display ports can only transmit video to external monitors and cannot charge external monitors.
  5. Peripheral Connection: Attach USB and USB-C devices (keyboard, mouse, printer, USB drives, etc.) to the available USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports on both the front and back of the dock.
  6. Audio Connection: Connect speakers/headphones or a microphone to the front audio inputs.
