Setup Guide
1. System Connection
The WESECUU PoE Security Camera System utilizes Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology, simplifying installation by carrying both power and video signals through a single Ethernet cable.
- Connect Cameras to NVR: Connect each 4MP IP PoE camera to an available PoE port on the back of the NVR using the provided Ethernet cables. The NVR has 8 PoE ports.
- Connect NVR to Router: Connect the NVR's LAN port to your network router using an Ethernet cable for internet access and remote viewing capabilities.
- Connect NVR to Display: Connect the NVR to a monitor or TV using an HDMI or VGA cable to view the live feed and access system settings.
- Power On: Connect the NVR to a power outlet using the provided power adapter. The system will power on automatically.

2. Initial Configuration
Upon first power-on, the NVR will guide you through a setup wizard. Follow the on-screen prompts to:
- Set up a strong password for the administrator account.
- Configure network settings (DHCP is recommended for most home networks).
- Verify camera connections and video feeds.
- Set date and time.

Operating the System
1. Live View and Playback
Access the NVR interface via a connected monitor or the mobile application (XMEye Pro) to view live camera feeds. The system supports real-time video playback from the pre-installed 3TB HDD.

2. Remote Access via Mobile App
For remote viewing and control, download the free XMEye Pro application from your device's app store. Follow these steps:
- Download and install the "XMEye Pro" app.
- Register an account or log in if you have an existing one.
- Add your NVR device by scanning the QR code displayed on the NVR's monitor or by manually entering the device ID.
- Once added, you can view live feeds, play back recordings, and receive alerts from anywhere with an internet connection.

3. Two-Way Audio
The cameras are equipped with built-in microphones and speakers, enabling two-way audio communication. This feature allows you to listen to the environment and speak through the camera using the NVR interface or the mobile app.

4. Human Detection and Night Vision
The system features advanced human detection to minimize false alarms and offers multiple night vision modes for clear surveillance in low-light conditions.
- Human Detection: The cameras can intelligently distinguish human shapes from other moving objects, sending accurate alerts.
- Night Vision: Choose between infrared night vision (black and white), full-color night vision (requires ambient light), or sound and light alarm night vision (activates floodlight and siren upon detection).

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your security system:
- Clean Cameras: Periodically wipe the camera lenses with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust and dirt. Ensure the cameras are powered off before cleaning.
- Check Cables: Inspect all Ethernet cables for any signs of wear, damage, or loose connections. Secure or replace as needed.
- Software Updates: Check for and install firmware updates for the NVR and cameras regularly through the system settings or mobile app to ensure the latest features and security patches.
- Hard Drive Health: Monitor the health of the 3TB HDD through the NVR's system settings. Back up important footage periodically.
- Power Supply: Ensure the NVR's power adapter is securely connected and not exposed to moisture or extreme temperatures.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No video display on monitor/TV. | Loose HDMI/VGA cable, NVR not powered on, incorrect input source on display. | Check cable connections. Ensure NVR is powered on. Select correct input source on your display. |
| No camera image. | Loose Ethernet cable, camera not powered, faulty camera/port. | Check Ethernet cable connection to camera and NVR. Ensure NVR PoE port is active. Try connecting camera to a different port. |
| Cannot access system remotely via app. | NVR not connected to internet, incorrect network settings, app configuration error. | Verify NVR's internet connection. Check network settings (DHCP recommended). Re-add device in the XMEye Pro app. Ensure router firewall is not blocking connections. |
| Poor image quality. | Dirty camera lens, low light conditions, network bandwidth issues. | Clean camera lens. Adjust camera position or lighting. Ensure sufficient network bandwidth for streaming. |
| No recording. | HDD full or faulty, recording schedule not set, motion detection not configured. | Check HDD status in NVR settings. Configure recording schedule. Ensure motion detection is enabled and sensitivity is set correctly. |
