Image showing the main components: the display console (base station), the power adapter, and the outdoor sensor. The base station requires 3x AA 1.5V batteries (not included) or the adapter. The outdoor sensor requires 3x AA 1.5V batteries (not included).
Setup
1. Powering the Display Console
Insert 3x AA 1.5V alkaline or lithium batteries (not included) into the battery compartment of the display console. Alternatively, connect the provided 5V 500mA power adapter to the console and a power outlet. Batteries serve as a backup in case of power loss.
2. Powering the Outdoor Sensor
Insert 3x AA 1.5V alkaline or lithium batteries (not included) into the battery compartment of the 5-in-1 outdoor sensor. Ensure the battery compartment is sealed tightly to protect against moisture.
3. Sensor Placement
Mount the 5-in-1 outdoor sensor in an open area, away from obstructions, to ensure accurate readings for wind, rain, temperature, and humidity. The sensor should be mounted securely using the provided hardware. Ensure the rain collector is level and the wind vane can rotate freely.

This image illustrates the components of the 5-in-1 outdoor sensor, including the rain funnel, wind vane, and high-speed anemometer, highlighting its integrated design for comprehensive outdoor measurements.
4. Synchronization
Once both the display console and outdoor sensor are powered on, they will automatically attempt to synchronize. This process may take a few minutes. Ensure the sensor is within the wireless transmission range (up to 300 feet in open air) of the display console.
Operating Instructions
Display Overview
The large color display is divided into several sections for easy readability. Key information includes:
- Date and Time: Located at the top.
- Wind Information: Speed (gust and average) and direction (compass rose).
- Barometric Pressure: Current pressure readings.
- Rainfall: Daily, weekly, or monthly precipitation totals.
- Indoor Temperature & Humidity: Readings from the base station.
- Outdoor Temperature & Humidity: Readings from the 5-in-1 sensor.
- Weather Forecast: Icons indicating predicted weather conditions.
- Moon Phase: Current lunar phase display.

This image displays the large, easy-to-read color screen of the weather station, showing current date, time, wind speed and direction, barometric pressure, rainfall, and indoor/outdoor temperature and humidity.
Basic Functions
- Time and Date Setting: Use the 'SET' button to enter time/date setting mode. Use '+' and '-' buttons to adjust values.
- Alarm Function: The station includes an alarm feature. Refer to the detailed manual for setting specific alarms for temperature or other parameters.
- Min/Max Records: The station automatically records minimum and maximum values for various measurements. Press the 'MIN/MAX' button to view these records.
- Weather Forecast: The station provides a weather forecast based on barometric pressure trends. Icons will change to reflect predicted conditions (sunny, cloudy, rainy, etc.).
- Moon Phases: The display shows the current moon phase.

This image highlights additional features of the weather station, including an alarm, calendar, moon phases, and the solar power capability of the outdoor sensor.
Maintenance
Outdoor Sensor
- Cleaning: Periodically clean the rain collector funnel and the wind cups to ensure accurate readings. Remove any debris such as leaves or insects.
- Battery Replacement: Replace the batteries in the outdoor sensor approximately once a year, or when the low battery indicator appears on the display console. Use high-quality alkaline or lithium batteries for best performance, especially in cold climates.
- Inspection: Regularly check the mounting of the outdoor sensor to ensure it remains secure and level.
Display Console
- Cleaning: Wipe the display console with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Replacement: Replace the backup batteries in the display console when the low battery indicator appears.
Troubleshooting
- No Outdoor Sensor Data:
- Ensure the outdoor sensor batteries are fresh and correctly installed.
- Check that the outdoor sensor is within range of the display console (max 300 feet in open air). Obstacles like thick walls or metal structures can reduce range.
- Try resetting both the sensor and the console by removing and reinserting batteries. - Inaccurate Readings:
- Temperature/Humidity: Ensure the outdoor sensor is not in direct sunlight or near heat sources. Ensure the indoor console is not near vents or direct sunlight.
- Wind Speed/Direction: Check that the wind cups and vane are free from obstructions and can rotate freely.
- Rainfall: Ensure the rain collector is clean and level. - Display Not Working:
- Check the power adapter connection and ensure it's plugged into a working outlet.
- Replace the backup batteries in the display console.
