3. Setup and Installation
3.1 Unpacking
- Remove all packing materials from the oven cavity and the accessories.
- Inspect the oven for any damage, such as a misaligned or bent door, damaged door seals and sealing surface, broken or loose door hinges and latches, or dents inside the cavity or on the door. If there is any damage, do not operate the oven and contact LG customer service.
- Place the turntable and turntable ring inside the oven.
3.2 Placement
This is a countertop microwave oven. Ensure there is adequate ventilation space around the unit. Maintain a minimum of 4 inches (10 cm) of space on the top, sides, and rear for proper airflow.
3.3 Power Connection
Plug the microwave oven into a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage and frequency match the specifications listed on the product label.
3.4 Setting the Clock
Upon first use or after a power outage, the display will show "0:00". To set the clock, refer to the detailed instructions on the inner control panel or the full user manual for specific button sequences.
4. Operating Instructions
Your LG Smart Inverter Microwave Oven offers various cooking functions for your convenience. The controls are accessible both on the exterior touch panel and the interior panel when the door is open.
4.1 Basic Cooking (Time Cook)
- Place food in a microwave-safe container inside the oven.
- Close the oven door securely.

- Press the START/+30s button to begin cooking. For quick 30-second increments, simply press START/+30s repeatedly.

4.6 Stopping/Clearing Operations
To stop cooking at any time, press the STOP/CLEAR button. Pressing it twice will clear all settings.
