Setup

Operating Instructions
1. Finding Your Item
To locate an item attached to your Chipolo ONE:
- Open the Chipolo app on your smartphone.
- Select the Chipolo ONE device associated with the item you wish to find.
- Tap the "Ring to Find" button. Your Chipolo ONE will emit a loud sound (up to 120dB) to help you pinpoint its location.

2. Finding Your Phone
If you misplace your phone, you can use your Chipolo ONE to find it:
- Double-press the button on your Chipolo ONE device.
- Your phone will start ringing, even if it's on silent mode, helping you locate it.
3. Out of Range Alerts
The Chipolo app can notify you if you leave your item behind:
- Enable "Out of Range Alerts" in the Chipolo app settings for specific items.
- If your Chipolo ONE disconnects from your phone's Bluetooth range (approx. 200 feet / 60 meters), you will receive a notification on your phone.
- You can set "Quiet Locations" in the app (e.g., home, office) to disable these alerts in familiar places and prevent false notifications.
4. Location Tracking
If your item is out of Bluetooth range, the Chipolo app records its last known location:
- Open the Chipolo app and view the map to see where your Chipolo ONE was last connected to your phone.
- The Chipolo community can also help locate lost items by anonymously updating the location if another Chipolo user passes by your lost device.
