5.4 Radar Detector Mode Switching
The radar detector has two primary modes: Highway and City.
- Highway Mode: Provides higher sensitivity to detect radar bands from a longer distance. This is suitable for open road driving.
- City Mode: Reduces sensitivity to minimize false alerts caused by interference signals from automatic doors, traffic sensors, and other urban sources.
To switch modes, shortly press the Menu button (or a dedicated mode button if available).
6. Radar Detector Features
The integrated radar module detects various frequency bands:
- X-band: 10.535GHz ± 100MHz
- Tripod K-band: 24.125GHz ± 175MHz
- Tripod Ku-band: 13.450GHz ± 125MHz
- Police Ka-band: 34.700GHz ~ 36.100 ± 1300MHz
- Tripod Ka-band: 34.300GHz ± 1300MHz
- Vg-2: 11.150GHz ± 175MHz
The device is designed to reduce radar detector sensitivity and shield against various radar interference signals to minimize unwanted warnings. When a radar signal is detected, the device will provide an audible alert and display the detected band on the screen.

7. Dash Camera Features
7.1 Video Recording
- Resolution: 720P (HD)
- Lens: 140-degree wide angle for broad road coverage.
- Video Format: AVI
- Compression Format: H.264
- Seamless Loop Video: Records continuously, overwriting the oldest files when the memory card is full. Typical loop recording segments are 3 minutes.
- Time Stamp: Records date and time on video footage.

7.2 G-Sensor
The built-in G-sensor (gravity sensor) detects sudden movements or impacts, such as in the event of a collision. When triggered, it automatically locks the current video file to prevent it from being overwritten by loop recording, ensuring critical footage is preserved.

7.3 Night Vision
The device supports night vision functionality, allowing for clearer video recording in low-light conditions.
8. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the device's exterior and lens. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Memory Card: Regularly format the TF card (at least once a month) to ensure optimal recording performance and prevent data corruption. Back up any important video files before formatting.
- Temperature: Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures (below -45°C or above +75°C) for extended periods, as this can affect performance and lifespan.
9. Troubleshooting
- Device not powering on: Ensure the car charger is securely connected to both the device and the vehicle's 12V outlet. Check if the vehicle's 12V outlet is functioning.
- Recording issues: Ensure a compatible TF card (max 32GB, Class 10 recommended) is inserted correctly. Format the TF card. If issues persist, try a different TF card.
- Frequent false radar alerts: Switch to 'City Mode' to reduce sensitivity in urban areas. Ensure the device is not obstructed. Some vehicle safety features (e.g., adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring) can emit radar signals that may trigger alerts.
- Poor video quality: Clean the camera lens. Ensure the windshield area where the camera is mounted is clean. Check video resolution settings.
- Suction cup not sticking: Clean both the suction cup and the windshield surface thoroughly. Apply a small amount of moisture to the suction cup before attaching.
