Please read all instructions carefully before operating the Prestige PWG 07 Wet Grinder. Retain this manual for future reference. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.
- Always ensure the appliance is placed on a stable, flat, and dry surface before operation.
- Do not immerse the motor base unit in water or any other liquid. Clean with a damp cloth only.
- Keep hands and utensils away from moving parts during operation to prevent injury. Use the provided spatula or pusher if necessary.
- Unplug the appliance from the power outlet when not in use, before assembling or disassembling parts, and before cleaning.

3. Setup
Follow these steps to set up your wet grinder before first use.
- Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Check for any damage.
- Clean: Wash the stainless steel drum, grinding stones, lid, atta kneader, and coconut scraper with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Do not wash the motor base unit.
- Placement: Place the base unit on a clean, dry, stable, and level surface, away from the edge of the counter. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit.
- Assemble Drum: Place the cleaned stainless steel drum onto the base unit. Ensure it is seated correctly.
- Insert Grinding Stones: Carefully place the grinding stone assembly into the drum.
- Power Connection: Ensure the power switch is in the 'OFF' position before plugging the grinder into a suitable electrical outlet.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1. General Grinding (e.g., for Idli/Dosa Batter)
- Ensure the drum and grinding stones are clean and properly assembled on the base unit.
- Add the pre-soaked and drained ingredients (e.g., rice, lentils) into the drum. Do not exceed the 2-litre capacity.
- Pour a small amount of water into the drum. Start with less water and add gradually as needed during grinding.
- Place the transparent lid securely on the drum.
- Plug in the grinder and switch it ON. The grinding stones will begin to rotate.
- Allow the ingredients to grind until the desired consistency is achieved. Use the transparent lid to monitor the process.
- If the batter becomes too thick, add small amounts of water through the opening in the lid while the grinder is running.
- Once grinding is complete, switch the grinder OFF and unplug it from the power outlet.
- Carefully remove the lid, then lift out the grinding stone assembly. Scrape off any batter clinging to the stones.
- Lift the stainless steel drum from the base unit and pour out the batter.

4.2. Using the Atta Kneader Attachment
- Ensure the drum is clean and placed on the base unit.
- Remove the grinding stone assembly. Insert the atta kneader attachment onto the central shaft in the drum.
- Add flour and a small amount of water to the drum.
- Secure the transparent lid.
- Plug in and switch ON the grinder. Allow the kneader to mix and knead the dough. Add water gradually through the lid opening if needed, until the desired dough consistency is reached.
- Once kneading is complete, switch OFF and unplug the grinder.
- Remove the lid and the atta kneader attachment. Carefully remove the dough.

4.3. Using the Coconut Scraper Attachment
- Ensure the drum is clean and placed on the base unit.
- Remove the grinding stone assembly. Insert the coconut scraper attachment onto the central shaft in the drum.
- Hold a half-coconut firmly and carefully bring it towards the rotating scraper blade.
- Switch ON the grinder. Gently scrape the coconut flesh against the rotating blade.
- Continue until all the desired coconut flesh is scraped.
- Switch OFF and unplug the grinder.
- Remove the lid and the coconut scraper attachment. Collect the scraped coconut.

5. Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning and proper maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your wet grinder.
- Always unplug the appliance before cleaning or performing any maintenance.
- Drum and Attachments: After each use, immediately wash the stainless steel drum, grinding stones, lid, atta kneader, and coconut scraper with warm soapy water. Use a brush to remove any residue from the grinding stones. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before storing.
- Base Unit: Wipe the exterior of the motor base unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the base unit in water.
- Storage: Store the grinder and its attachments in a clean, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
- Motor Maintenance: The motor is designed for heavy-duty use and requires no special user maintenance. Do not attempt to open the motor housing.
6. Troubleshooting
