8. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your tail light, refer to the following common solutions:

  • Light does not turn on:
    • Ensure the battery is charged. Connect to a USB power source and check the charging indicator.
    • Press the central button firmly.
  • Automatic On/Off function not working:
    • Verify that the light is in Flashing or Breathing Flash mode, as these are the modes where the automatic functions are active.
    • Ensure the light sensor is not obstructed.
    • For vibration detection, ensure the bicycle is in motion.
  • Light does not charge:
    • Check the USB cable and power source for proper connection.
    • Try a different USB cable or power adapter.
    • Ensure the charging port is clean and free of debris.
  • Brake warning not activating:
    • Ensure the light is securely mounted and not loose, as this can affect sensor accuracy.
    • Test the braking action to ensure a clear deceleration is detected by the sensor.

9. Safety Precautions

Observe the following safety precautions for safe operation:

  • Always comply with local road traffic laws and regulations regarding bicycle lighting.
  • If your bicycle does not have a red reflector on the rear, use the constant light mode during nighttime riding. Flashing modes or colors other than red are considered auxiliary lights and should be used in conjunction with a red reflector.
  • Do not look directly into the light when it is on, as it can cause temporary vision impairment.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Do not disassemble or modify the product, as this may void the warranty and cause malfunction.
  • Ensure the light is securely mounted before each ride to prevent it from falling off.
