Setup Instructions

1. Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the lid.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert 6 x LR06 (AA) batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

2. Installing Trash Bags

  1. For the top 47L compartment: Place a trash bag inside the bin. Use the provided plastic strapping ring to secure the bag's edges, preventing it from slipping.
  2. For the bottom 25L compartment: Pull out the bottom drawer. Place a trash bag inside the removable inner bin. If using the divider for sorting, ensure the bag is placed appropriately for each section.
  3. The 3L removable plastic table bin does not typically require a bag, but small liners can be used if desired.

3. Optional Divider for Bottom Compartment

The 25L bottom compartment includes an optional divider for waste separation. Insert the divider into the designated slots within the inner bin to create two smaller sections for recycling or different waste types.

Operating Instructions

1. Automatic Sensor Operation

The lid of the top compartment operates automatically using an infrared sensor. Simply move your hand or an object approximately 15cm (6 inches) above the electric photo cell located on the lid. The lid will open automatically and close after a few seconds of inactivity.

2. Manual Open/Close Buttons

For extended opening or manual control, use the "OPEN" and "CLOSE" buttons located on the lid. Press "OPEN" to keep the lid open indefinitely. Press "CLOSE" to close the lid. The sensor will reactivate once the lid is manually closed.

3. Using the Bottom Compartment
