Installation Instructions
Before You Begin
- Ensure the power is OFF at the circuit breaker.
- Prepare necessary tools: screwdriver, wire strippers, electrical tape, ladder (if needed).
- Identify the mounting location, ensuring it is a suitable outdoor electrical box.
Mounting the Fixture
- Remove the mounting plate from the back of the fixture.
- Attach the mounting plate to the electrical box using the provided screws. Ensure it is securely fastened.
- Connect the electrical wires:
- Connect the black wire from the fixture to the black (hot) wire from the electrical box using a wire nut.
- Connect the white wire from the fixture to the white (neutral) wire from the electrical box using a wire nut.
- Connect the green (ground) wire from the fixture to the bare copper or green ground wire from the electrical box using a wire nut.
- Carefully tuck all wires into the electrical box.
- Align the fixture with the mounting plate and secure it with the provided screws. Ensure a tight seal against the mounting surface to prevent water intrusion.
- Restore power at the circuit breaker.

Operating Instructions
Dusk to Dawn Functionality
The LUTEC LED Dual-Head Floodlight is equipped with an integrated photocell sensor for automatic dusk-to-dawn operation. Once power is supplied to the fixture, it will:
- Automatically turn ON at full brightness when ambient light levels drop (dusk).
- Remain ON throughout the night.
- Automatically turn OFF when ambient light levels increase (dawn).
No manual intervention is required for this mode of operation.
Adjusting Light Heads
The two light heads can be independently adjusted to direct illumination where needed. Loosen the adjustment screws on the side of each light head, position the head to the desired angle, and then tighten the screws to secure it. The heads offer 360° rotation and tilt capabilities.
Maintenance
This LED floodlight requires minimal maintenance. Follow these guidelines to ensure optimal performance and longevity:
- Cleaning: Periodically clean the fixture with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the finish or electrical components. Ensure power is off before cleaning.
- Inspection: Regularly inspect the fixture for any signs of damage, loose wiring, or wear. If any issues are found, disconnect power and consult a qualified electrician.
- LEDs: The integrated LED lights are designed for long life and are not user-replaceable.
