2. Product Overview
The Uleway G380D-SE is a classic flip phone with a focus on simplicity and accessibility. It features dual screens, a large keypad, and dedicated quick-dial buttons.

3. Setup
3.1 Inserting the SIM Card and Battery
- Open the back cover of the phone by gently prying it from the notch at the bottom.
- If the battery is already inserted, remove it by lifting it from the bottom edge.
- Locate the SIM card slot(s). This phone supports standard size SIM cards. Carefully insert your SIM card(s) into the designated slot(s) with the gold contacts facing down, ensuring it clicks into place.
- If using a Micro SD card for additional storage (up to 16GB), insert it into the Micro SD card slot.
- Insert the battery, aligning the gold contacts on the battery with the contacts in the phone. Press down gently until it is secure.
- Replace the back cover, pressing firmly around the edges until it snaps into place.

3.2 Charging the Battery
Before first use, fully charge the phone's battery. Use the provided charging cable and adapter.
- Connect the small end of the charging cable to the charging port on the phone.
- Plug the large end of the charging cable into the power adapter.
- Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet.
- The battery indicator on the screen will show charging progress. Once fully charged, disconnect the charger.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Powering On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the red End Call/Power button until the screen lights up.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the red End Call/Power button until a power-off option appears on the screen, then confirm.
4.2 Making and Receiving Calls
- To Make a Call: Dial the number using the large keypad and press the green Call button.
- To Answer a Call: Open the flip cover or press the green Call button when the phone rings.
- To End a Call: Close the flip cover or press the red End Call/Power button.
4.3 Sending and Receiving SMS Messages
- Navigate to the "Messaging" menu from the main screen.
- Select "Write Message" to compose a new SMS.
- Enter the recipient's number or select from contacts.
- Type your message using the keypad.
- Press "Send" to transmit the message.
- Incoming messages will be displayed on the screen. Open the flip to read.

4.4 Speed Dial (M1/M2/M3)
The M1, M2, and M3 buttons can be programmed for quick dialing of important contacts.
- Go to "Settings" > "Speed Dial Settings".
- Select M1, M2, or M3.
- Assign a contact from your phonebook or enter a new number.
- To use, simply press and hold the M1, M2, or M3 button to dial the assigned number.

5. SOS Emergency Function
The SOS function is a critical safety feature, allowing you to quickly contact pre-set emergency numbers.
- Setting Up SOS Numbers: Go to "SOS Settings" in the menu. You can set up to 5 emergency contact numbers.
- Activating SOS: In an emergency, press and hold the dedicated SOS button on the back of the phone for 3 seconds.
- The phone will automatically dial the pre-set numbers in sequence until one answers. It will also send an emergency text message to these contacts (this feature can be disabled in settings).
