Setup Guide

1. Battery Installation

The keyboard requires two AA batteries, and the mouse requires one AA battery. Batteries are not included.

1. For the mouse: Locate the battery compartment cover on the underside of the mouse. Slide the cover open. Insert one AA battery, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals match the indicators inside the compartment. Close the cover securely.
2. For the keyboard: Locate the battery compartment cover on the underside of the keyboard. Slide the cover open. Insert two AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Close the cover securely.

Important: The USB Nano Receiver is stored inside the mouse battery compartment for safe keeping. Remove it before use.

2. Connecting to Your Computer (Plug and Play)

The LeadsaiL Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo uses a single 2.4G USB Nano Receiver for both devices.

1. Remove the USB Nano Receiver from its storage slot inside the mouse's battery compartment.
2. Plug the USB Nano Receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
3. Turn on the mouse using the ON/OFF switch located on its underside.
4. The keyboard and mouse should automatically connect to your computer within a few seconds. No additional software or drivers are typically required.

3. Power Indicators

The keyboard features three indicator lights located above the number pad:

• NUM Indicator: Lights up when Num Lock is active.
• CAPS Indicator: Lights up when Caps Lock is active.
• POWER Indicator: Lights up briefly when the keyboard is turned on or a key is pressed, indicating battery status.

Operating Instructions

Keyboard Multimedia Shortcuts

The keyboard provides 12 multimedia shortcut keys, accessible by pressing the FN key simultaneously with the corresponding F1-F12 function key.

Note: Multimedia shortcut functions are not compatible with Mac OS.

Mouse DPI Adjustment

The mouse allows you to adjust the cursor sensitivity (DPI) to suit your preference. There are three levels: 800, 1200, and 1600 DPI.

• Press the DPI button, located on the top center of the mouse, to cycle through the available sensitivity settings. Each press will change the DPI level.

Energy Saving Mode

To maximize battery life, both the keyboard and mouse are designed with an automatic sleep function.

• After approximately 3 minutes of inactivity, the devices will enter a low-power sleep mode.
• To reactivate them, simply click any mouse button or press any key on the keyboard.

Maintenance

Proper care will ensure the longevity of your LeadsaiL Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo.

• Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the surfaces of the keyboard and mouse. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild cleaning solution, then wipe dry immediately. Avoid harsh chemicals.
• Storage: When not in use for extended periods, turn off the mouse using its ON/OFF switch. Store the USB Nano Receiver inside the mouse's battery compartment to prevent loss, especially during travel.
• Environment: Keep the devices away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and liquids.

Troubleshooting

Devices Not Responding

• Check USB Receiver: Ensure the USB Nano Receiver is securely plugged into a functional USB port on your computer. Try a different USB port if necessary.
• Verify Batteries: Confirm that fresh AA batteries are installed correctly in both the keyboard (2x AA) and mouse (1x AA), paying attention to polarity. Replace batteries if they are low or depleted.
• Power Cycle: Turn off the mouse using its ON/OFF switch. Unplug the USB receiver from your computer. Wait 10 seconds, then plug the receiver back in and turn on the mouse.
• Reduce Interference: Move the keyboard and mouse closer to the USB receiver. Wireless performance can be affected by distance, large metal objects, or other wireless devices operating on the 2.4GHz frequency.
• Wake from Sleep Mode: If the devices have entered energy-saving sleep mode, simply click a mouse button or press any key on the keyboard to reactivate them.

Keyboard Keys Not Working or Lagging

• Battery Level: Ensure keyboard batteries are not low. Replace if needed.
• Connection Stability: Follow steps under "Devices Not Responding" to ensure a stable wireless connection.
• Clean Keys: Check for any debris under the keys that might be preventing proper function.

Mouse Cursor Jumps or Lags

• Surface: Use the mouse on a clean, non-reflective, and opaque surface. Avoid glass or highly reflective surfaces.
• DPI Setting: Adjust the DPI setting using the DPI button on the mouse to see if a different sensitivity improves performance.
• Battery Level: Ensure mouse battery is not low. Replace if needed.
• Optical Sensor: Ensure the optical sensor on the underside of the mouse is clean and unobstructed.
