Control Panel Layout:

1. Power Button: Turns the unit on/off.
2. Mode/EQ Button: Switches between functions (CD/USB/FM/Bluetooth/AUX) and adjusts equalizer settings.
3. Skip/Search Buttons: Navigates tracks (CD/USB) or radio stations (FM).
4. Volume Controls (VOL- / VOL+): Adjusts the audio output level.
5. Play/Pause/Repeat Button: Controls playback for CD/USB and repeat functions.
6. Digital Display: Shows current mode, track number, frequency, etc.

6. Setup

6.1 Power Connection

The Boombox can be powered by AC electricity or batteries.

AC Power:

1. Ensure the unit is switched off.
2. Connect the supplied AC power cord to the AC power input on the back of the unit.
3. Plug the other end of the AC power cord into a standard wall outlet (110V/220V compatible).

Battery Power (Optional):

For portable use, you can power the unit with batteries (not included).

1. Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of the unit.
2. Open the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert the required number of batteries (refer to the compartment for type and polarity).
4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

6.2 Initial Power On

Press the Power Button to turn on the unit. The digital display will illuminate.

7. Operating Instructions

7.1 Selecting a Mode

Press the Mode/EQ Button repeatedly to cycle through the available modes: CD, USB, FM Radio, Bluetooth, and AUX.

7.2 FM Radio Operation

1. Extend the telescopic FM antenna for optimal reception.
2. Select FM Radio mode using the Mode/EQ Button.
3. Press the ◀◀ / ▶▶ buttons to automatically scan for the next available station.
4. For manual tuning, press and hold the Skip/Search Buttons.
5. Adjust the volume using the VOL- and VOL+ buttons.

7.3 CD Player Operation

1. Open the CD compartment cover.
2. Place a CD (audio CD or MP3 CD) onto the spindle with the label side facing up.
3. Close the CD compartment cover securely.
4. Select CD mode using the Mode/EQ Button.
5. The CD will begin playing automatically. If not, press the Play/Pause Button.
6. Use the Skip/Search Buttons (◀◀ / ▶▶) to skip tracks.
7. Press the Play/Pause Button to pause or resume playback.
8. Press the Play/Pause/Repeat Button repeatedly to cycle through repeat modes (e.g., repeat one, repeat all).

7.4 Bluetooth Connection

1. Select Bluetooth mode using the Mode/EQ Button. The display will show "BT" and the unit will enter pairing mode.
2. On your smartphone or other Bluetooth-enabled device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
3. Select "BD 1370" (or similar name) from the list of devices.
4. Once paired, the unit will emit a confirmation sound, and you can now stream audio from your device.
5. Control playback (play/pause, skip) from your connected device or using the Boombox controls.

7.5 USB Playback

1. Insert a USB flash drive containing MP3 audio files into the USB port.
2. Select USB mode using the Mode/EQ Button.
3. Playback will start automatically.
4. Use the Skip/Search Buttons (◀◀ / ▶▶) to navigate tracks.
5. Press the Play/Pause Button to pause or resume playback.

7.6 Auxiliary Input (AUX IN)

1. Connect one end of a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to the AUX IN port on the Boombox.
2. Connect the other end of the cable to the headphone jack or audio output of your external audio device (e.g., MP3 player, smartphone).
3. Select AUX mode using the Mode/EQ Button.
4. Control playback and volume from your external device.

7.7 Headphone Use

To listen privately, plug a 3.5mm stereo headphone into the Headphone Jack. The main speakers will be muted automatically.

8.1 Cleaning

• Always unplug the unit from the power outlet before cleaning.
• Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents as they may damage the finish.
• For the CD lens, use a specialized CD lens cleaner disc or a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for optical lenses.

8.2 Storage

When not in use for extended periods, store the unit in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If using batteries, remove them before storage to prevent leakage.
