1. Setup and Initial Connection

This section guides you through the initial setup of your TECKNET Bluetooth Mouse, including both 2.4G wireless and Bluetooth connection modes.

1.1. Inserting Batteries and USB Receiver

The mouse requires one AA battery for operation. The USB receiver is conveniently stored within the mouse's battery compartment.

1.2. 2.4G Wireless Mode Setup

1. Insert batteries into the mouse.
2. Toggle the switch on the bottom of the mouse to the 2.4G position (green LED indicator).
3. Plug the USB-A receiver into an available USB-A port on your computer.
4. Press any button on the mouse to establish the connection.

1.3. Bluetooth Mode Setup

1. Insert batteries into the mouse.
2. Toggle the switch on the bottom of the mouse to the BT (Bluetooth) position (blue LED indicator).
3. Hold the pairing button on the bottom of the mouse for 3 seconds until the blue LED blinks rapidly.
4. On your device (laptop, tablet, MacBook), enable Bluetooth.
5. Search for "BM20X-3.0" or "BM20X-5.0" in your device's Bluetooth settings.
6. Select the appropriate device name to connect.
