7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Anlapus security camera, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • No Image on Display:
    • Ensure the camera is properly powered and the power adapter is functioning.
    • Verify that the video cable is securely connected between the camera and the DVR.
    • Check if the camera's video output mode matches your DVR's input mode (refer to Section 4.3). Incorrect mode is a common cause for no image or distorted image.
    • Confirm the DVR is functioning correctly and connected to the display.
  • Poor Image Quality (Blurry, Lines, or Distorted):
    • Clean the camera lens to remove dirt or smudges.
    • Ensure the video output mode is correctly set for your DVR (refer to Section 4.3).
    • Check the quality of your video cable. A damaged or low-quality cable can affect image clarity.
    • Verify that the power supply is stable and provides sufficient voltage (12V).
  • Night Vision Not Working:
    • Ensure there are no obstructions blocking the IR LEDs.
    • Check if the camera is receiving adequate power.
    • In some cases, strong external light sources near the camera can prevent IR LEDs from activating.
