1. Introduction
The HBN Outdoor Smart WiFi Plug (Model 154T-1P) provides convenient remote control and automation for your outdoor and indoor electrical devices. 2. Important Safety Information

- Outdoor Use: This device is rated IP44 weatherproof. For outdoor installation, ensure the plug is mounted vertically at least 2 feet (0.6 meters) above the ground to prevent water ingress.

5. Setup Instructions

Step 3: Connect the Smart Plug

- Ensure the indicator light is blinking rapidly (EZ Mode) or slowly (AP Mode). If not, press and hold the power button on the plug for 5 seconds until it blinks.
- Open the app and tap the "+" icon or "Add Device" to add a new device.
- Select the device type, typically under "Electrical" or "Socket" categories. Choose "Socket (Wi-Fi)" or similar.
- Confirm the indicator light status in the app.
- Enter your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network name and password. The device does not support 5.0 GHz networks.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the connection process. Once connected, the indicator light will stop blinking and remain solid.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Remote Control via App
Once connected, you can control your smart plug from anywhere using the app:
- On/Off Control: Tap the power icon next to each outlet in the app to turn it on or off individually.
- Independent Outlets: The two outlets can be controlled independently, allowing you to manage different devices simultaneously.

6.2 Voice Control
The HBN Smart WiFi Plug is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Home Assistant:
- Linking Accounts: Follow the instructions in your smart assistant app (Alexa or Google Home) to link your HBN Smart, Smart Life, or Tuya Smart account.
- Voice Commands: Once linked, you can use voice commands such as:
- "Alexa, turn on [Device Name]"
- "Hey Google, turn off [Device Name]"

6.3 Schedule and Timer Setting
Automate your devices with custom schedules and timers:
- Scheduling: In the app, navigate to the scheduling section for your smart plug. You can set specific times for each outlet to turn on or off on chosen days of the week.

7. Maintenance

8. Troubleshooting
Common Issues and Solutions:
- Device fails to connect to Wi-Fi:
- Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4 GHz. The plug does not support 5.0 GHz networks.
- Verify your Wi-Fi password is correct.
- Move the smart plug closer to your Wi-Fi router.
- Try connecting using AP (Access Point) mode if EZ (Easy) mode fails. Instructions for AP mode are usually found within the app's device addition process.
- Restart your Wi-Fi router and the smart plug.
- Voice control not working:
- Ensure your HBN Smart, Smart Life, or Tuya Smart account is correctly linked to your Amazon Alexa or Google Home Assistant app.
- Check the device name in the smart assistant app; it should match the name you use in your voice commands.
- Verify your smart assistant device is connected to the internet.
- Plug loses settings after power outage:
- The HBN Smart WiFi Plug is designed to retain its settings after a power interruption and resume its schedule once power is restored.
