5. Setup and Installation

The Focket 750W Servo Motor is designed for straightforward installation. Follow these general steps:

  1. Mounting the Motor: Securely attach the servo motor to your sewing machine table using the provided installation bolts, hexagon nuts, washers, and spring washers. Ensure the motor is stable and aligned with the machine's drive wheel.
  2. Connecting the Foot Pedal: Connect the foot pedal to the motor controller using the pedal connectors.
  3. Connecting the Motor to the Controller: Plug the motor's cable into the designated port on the motor controller.
  4. Power Connection: Connect the motor controller to a suitable 220V power outlet.

6. Operating Instructions

Once installed, operate the servo motor as follows:

  1. Power On: Flip the red power switch on the motor controller to the 'ON' position. The digital display will illuminate.
  2. Speed Adjustment: Use the '+' and '-' buttons on the controller to adjust the desired maximum speed. The motor speed is continuously variable up to 4000 RPM.
  3. Direction Control: Press the 'Direction' button to change the rotation direction of the motor if needed for your specific sewing machine.
  4. Needle Position (if applicable): Some models may offer automatic needle stop functionality. Refer to the controller's specific programming options for setting needle up/down positions. Note that additional sensors or cables may be required for this feature to function correctly, and these may not be included or universally compatible.
  5. Operation: Press the foot pedal to start the motor. The motor speed will correspond to the pressure applied to the pedal, up to the set maximum speed. Release the pedal to stop.
