3. Setup
3.1 System Requirements

3.2 Connecting the Keyboard
- Locate an available USB-A port on your computer (PC or laptop).
- Plug the USB-A connector of the Hama KC-700 keyboard into the USB-A port on your computer.
- The keyboard is Plug & Play, meaning it should be automatically recognized by your operating system without requiring additional driver installation.

4. Operating the Keyboard
4.1 General Use
The Hama KC-700 is a full-format QWERTZ keyboard designed for comfortable and quiet typing. Its scissor-key mechanism ensures even and precise key pressure distribution, contributing to a silent typing experience.

4.2 Multimedia Functions (FN Keys)
The keyboard includes secondary FN key assignments for controlling multimedia functions directly. To activate these functions, press and hold the Fn key, then press the corresponding function key (F1-F12).

The individually separated keys of the Hama KC-700 keyboard are designed for easy cleaning and disinfection.

- Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or solvents, as these can damage the keyboard's surface and key legends.

- Ensure the keyboard is completely dry before reconnecting it to your computer.
6. Troubleshooting
6.1 Keyboard Not Responding
- Check USB Connection: Ensure the USB cable is securely plugged into a functioning USB-A port on your computer. Try a different USB port.
- Restart Computer: Sometimes a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues.
