4.2 Cleaning
Wipe the camera body with a soft, dry cloth. For the lens, use a specialized lens cleaning cloth and solution to avoid scratches. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
4.3 Storage
Store the camera in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the Micro SD card is properly inserted or stored safely to prevent data loss.
5. Troubleshooting
5.1 Timestamp Not Updating
If the date and time stamp on your recordings is incorrect, ensure you have followed all steps in the "Setting Date and Time Stamp" section (Section 2.3). Verify that the configuration file was correctly edited and saved to the camera's root directory. Some operating systems may require specific permissions or text editors (like TextEdit on Mac) to properly save the `.ini` file. After saving, safely eject the camera from your computer before powering it on to record.
5.2 Camera Not Recording
- Ensure the camera is fully charged.
- Check if the Micro SD card is properly inserted and has sufficient free space.
- Verify that the recording mode is correctly selected (video, photo, or audio).
- If the issue persists, try formatting the Micro SD card using the camera's utility or a computer (back up important files first).
5.3 Poor Video Quality
- Ensure the lens is clean and free from smudges or dust.
- Verify that you are recording in 1080P resolution if available.
- Ensure adequate lighting conditions for optimal performance.
