Setup

2. Battery Installation: The Prochrono LTD requires one 9-volt alkaline battery (not included). Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the unit. Open the compartment, connect the 9-volt battery to the terminal, and place it inside. Close the compartment securely.
3. Diffuser Screen Assembly:
   • Insert the four metal support rods into the designated holes on the top of the chronograph unit. Ensure they are firmly seated.
   • Attach the two white diffuser screens to the top of the support rods. The screens should be positioned directly above the sensing areas of the chronograph. These screens help to normalize ambient light, which is crucial for accurate readings.
4. Placement:

Operating Instructions

1. Power On: Press the "ON" button to power on the chronograph. The display will illuminate and show a readiness indicator.
2. Taking a Measurement:
   • Once the unit is powered on and ready, carefully fire the projectile through the center of the sensing area, ensuring it passes over both sensors.
   • For accurate readings, the projectile should pass within approximately 3 inches of the top of the unit.
   • The velocity reading will be displayed on the screen immediately after the projectile passes.
