Getting Started (Setup)

1. Unboxing and Package Contents

Upon opening the package, verify that all items are present:

2. SIM Card and Micro SD Card Installation

The OPPO A77 supports dual SIM cards and a Micro SD card for expanded storage.

1. Locate the SIM card tray on the side of the device.
2. Insert the SIM tray ejector tool into the small hole next to the tray and press gently until the tray pops out.
3. Place your Nano-SIM cards and Micro SD card into the designated slots on the tray, ensuring correct orientation.
4. Carefully reinsert the tray into the phone until it clicks into place.

3. Powering On and Initial Setup

1. Press and hold the Power button (located on the right side) until the OPPO logo appears on the screen.
2. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the initial setup, including language selection, Wi-Fi connection, Google account setup, and security settings.

4. Fingerprint Sensor Setup

The OPPO A77 features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for secure unlocking. During initial setup or via Settings > Password & biometrics > Fingerprint, you can register your fingerprints. Follow the on-screen prompts to scan your finger multiple times for accurate recognition.

Basic Operation

1. Display and Navigation

The device features a 6.56-inch HD+ Waterdrop Notch display with a resolution of 1612 x 720 pixels and a 60Hz refresh rate. Navigation is primarily touch-based, utilizing gestures or on-screen navigation buttons.

2. Camera Usage

The OPPO A77 is equipped with a 50MP + 2MP Rear AI Dual Camera and an 8MP Front Camera.

1. Open the Camera application from your home screen or app drawer.
2. Select your desired mode (e.g., Photo, Video, Portrait).
3. Tap the shutter button to capture photos or start/stop video recording.
4. Switch between front and rear cameras using the camera switch icon.

3. Battery Management and Charging

4. Audio Features

Care and Maintenance

1. General Cleaning

To clean your device, use a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive materials, or compressed air, as these can damage the screen or finish.

2. Water and Dust Resistance

The OPPO A77 is rated IPX4 for water resistance and IP5X for dust resistance. This means it is protected against splashes of water from any direction and is dust protected. It is not designed for submersion in water or exposure to high-pressure water jets. Damage caused by liquids is not covered under warranty.

3. Software Updates
